I doubt any UF fan wants Bama to succeed...or is he hoping they fail so much the next few years they have to buyout the coach,

I don't think it would be smart of Bama to go after Kiffin.

Their first target if they start looking for a new coach should be Dan Lanning. If they can't lure him from Oregon, they're better off taking a top coordinator from a top team rather than going for the best head coach who has known warts.

Guys like Glenn Schuman from UGA or Brian Hartline from OSU.

They’re also broke after following Alabama the last 20 years LOL. I know they’d whether be winning nattys but most of their fan base needs a decade or so break from spending the kind of money it takes to travel the the SEC CG and 2 bowl games a year. Their 401ks need a chance to rebound ??

No it doesn't. Kiffin and Bama are not compatible. They could have pursued him instead of DeBoer but didn't because they don't care for him.

If Deboer had lost to auburn, there was serious smoke of Kiffin to Bama conversations. Thats why Kiffin waited until after the Iron Bowl to announce.

He waited because he wanted the chance to play in the SECCG.

Honestly, you guys are just whistling past the graveyard hoping for Kiffin and LSU to crash.

You and your fellow Gators are still feeling the sting that you missed out on the Kiffin sweepstakes. You come up with all sorts of rationalizations to cope.

UForfeit fans still butthurt they had to settle for Napier 2.0 while we got the real coach. You and Ole miss reliable brothers. Move on to the acceptance stage of grief, please.

you are wrong. he waited to see if Bama would lose against Auburn because if they did, then Ole Miss would have played in the SEC championship game. Kiffin is right where he wants to be right now.

AL is boring AF. Lane is going to have so much fun on the bayou…he will laugh when you come calling. That, plus the absolute media shite storms and media propaganda machine rolling out of Oxford has been so bad that he might have to park it here even longer than he imagined. So, thanks for that guys

Sure it does.

Enjoy Sumrall. If you can keep Spurrier and the rest of your wheelchair qbs off his back for a minute, he might just do some good down there.

Lamar - “Good evening, coach. Hope you had a nice flight. Look, I know it’s late and you’re tired from today’s whirlwind but I just wanted to be the first to welcome you to your new office. I’ve been waiting for you and would like to show you around a bit before you call it a night”

Lane - “holy fricking shite, the #1 recruit in America is sitting in my office waiting for my arrival? Hell yea! Geaux fricking Tigers baby!!”

He’s kind of too wild for Bama. I don’t think they want this party guy.

Reece Davis said it best on game day when someone mentioned Lane to bama if debust were to leave. If you didn't hear that, you missed out.

Saban still has an office at Bama doesn’t he?

Can you imagine Lane taking that job and Saban being forced to watch. That would have fed families.

Actually not...Bama had their chance two years ago to hire Lane and they didn't...Also Kiffin who wants his own legacy is not going to attempt to do it in the shadow of Saban at Bama which is happening now with Deboer...
