Pretty sure Sackelroy underachieved more during his time at Alabama than Saban has.

kicking is Saban's Achilles heel.

He was saved by the committee a few times because they bought into that talent and assumed those loses were a major anomaly

Guess they were an anomaly. The two times Bama backed into the playoffs/BCS Championship, 2011 and 2017, they won the title.

This may not be what Alabama wants or what most of the SEC wants long term. You may have just created an arms race in college football. Money will rule. I have spoken to Texas and TAMU boosters who are salivating for a shot at Saban and Alabama. Texas believes that with Sarkisian running the show they have the missing peice and from what I am hearing and the money will start pouring in and Sarkisian will be given free rein much like Jimbo is getting in College Station.

Sarkisian is heading west to grab recruits and Jimbo is heading for the Southeast and the will have full pockets and in the case of Sarkisian, serious money.

He tries so hard not to be biased toward Alabama that he appears to dislike Alabama.

Take the Covid and Mulligan years out of the equation and Bama fans would be bitching that Saban really has underachieved on the field. It would be a legit argument based on his recruiting.

You would do just about anything for Auburn to have Saban and the accomplishments he’s had at Alabama.

You haven't been paying attention, the arms race started over a decade ago and the most dangerous weapon in any arsenal is an elite head coach. Bama has the GOAT and Texas and A&M have the GOAT's former lackeys.

At least we know where the brain damage that caused him to say Saban has underachieved came from…

Do you mean TAMU has just been toying with the Tide? I'm actually feeling sorry for your mom and dad here.

Greg's still upset that the bed bath and beyond off 280 closed.
Seriously, you ever saw guys that were so book smart they didn't have common sense? Just some nuggets from McElroy I've heard

NIL will just amount to a few hundred dollars.

I fully expect Iowa to roll Iowa state in 2021.

The best defensive player I ever saw was troy polimalu

If I was 'Bama, I'd be considering putting St. Nick in some kind of hermetically sealed hamster ball - to preserve him as long as possible. Then look into downloading his consciousness into a computer - or maybe sticking his animated head on a coaching robot.

That is exactly what I am saying. Sumlin never had the confidence of the boosters as such he was "curtailed" . Fisher came in with the full blessing of the boosters and free rein....something that Sumlin never had

Wasn't that guy supposed to be the next nobel laureate after he left Bama? What happened?
