Going from 7 perm to 3 is a horrible idea…

For all 16 teams.
Circling the 6 in your div and the cross div opponent was part of sec football.
Reducing your annual games will make every team have to wait every other year to play those other four will hurt the conference.

I’ll take it. LSU got some schools that have never won an SEC Championship and some haven’t been there.

And Alabama, Florida and Auburn, get better games for recruits to watch every year.
We just got placed on probation as far as tv views goes.
I’d rather have those seven games every year.
And while these other teams get their old rivalries that the sec had to have , even they miss out on the other four games.

As a long time LSU fan, I'm good with the new setup. We're going to see every conference team in a short timeframe.
For those who say "it was better before"... let me point this out. LSU never played:
Hershel Walker
Bo Jackson
Peyton Manning
That's 3 of the greatest players in the history of the game, SEC players. Not 1-and-done guys.

You can ask for LSU to go to the ACC or the Big 12.

If LSU was located on the eastern side of the SEC then you would have gotten some other SEC teams. The point is to play closer to the other SEC teams than go out to Florida or South Carolina. It just doesn't make any sense. I am seeing this for 4 years and this will be reevaluated after 4 years.

Previous was terribly unbalanced.
Having Bama Auburn LSU Ole Miss and A&M in one division, while the East had Georgia and NO ONE that could seriously challenge them.
Yeah, it was great for Georgia, who rarely set foot past the Mississippi.
This set up, you are GUARANTEED to not go more than 2 years without playing any team, and then you get that team for 2 years.
Hands down more equitable.
