Don't sell them short. They beat a 3-9 SCar team, who fumbled in FG range to end the game by 3 last year. Followed that up with wins against North Texas, Mizzou, Vandy, and Northwestern. The next step is obvious. National Title.

I'm not saying it means they will go 12-0, but their record has gotten better each year. That's an uptick. There may be a low ceiling, but they have been better each year and should be better for a 3rd year in a row.

It's always going to sting isn't it when you think about our 2013 game? The greatest team in the history of South Carolina had their national title path destroyed by a Tennessee team that tied with our worst record of all time. Our worst beat your best and now the series is back to natural order.

I'd say wait until Tennessee actually wins a game or two of note before declaring them on the uptick.
