I would have tried the 55 yd FG.

That would have been a 61 yard field goal with a kicker who's 6/12 on fgs over 30 yards this season

More like 65 yards. Kick six anyone?

This ref crew should never get another game. Ever. At any level.

Well the refs got them to OT. The officiating this year has been a joke, makes the games damn near impossible to watch.

Wonder who gives a bigger payoff to the crew in Atlanta next week - UGA or Texas?

Nick Saban wouldn't be tied with a 7-4 GT team at home at the end of regulation.

I got my MS from Tech but I'm not really that into Tech sports. I'm a Texas fan and alumnus. This is the most blatant bullshite screw job I've seen as of late.

I think the plan there when the refs huddled with the GA offense was for beck to throw a Hail Mary, refs call a PI (regulation game can’t end on a penalty), move ball up 15 yards, repeat steps 1-3 one more time, GA kick FG, win game.

The play of the game was Fumble by tech. Game was over if he didn’t fumble
