It actually sucks for them. It is an honor to be invited to the White House, regardless of the administration in charge at the time. You honor the institution, not the individual.

Wrong. Atlanta, Macon, Augusta, Albany, Columbus, and Savannah are blue. The rest of the state is red. There just wasn’t enough in the rural areas to counter the voting in the shithole cities.

I have despised more than a few presidents in my lifetime, and I don’t really like this administration either and plan on writing in a candidate if he wins the Dem nomination. However, these teams are visiting a person per de. They are being recognized by an office, and if we continue to only see the person, and not the office, then this country is already lost. If we only recognize the demagogues, then we are just China and Russia with just a little more personal freedom, though that is being tossed away with both hands by too many as well.
