Kirby knows that Saban still owns him. He got insanely lucky that Jameson Williams and Metchie both went down.
I mean, that's some crazy arse luck right there. Even with just Metchie out, Alabama probably still wins. Georgia needed both of them to go down, and that's what happened.
Kinda like LSU needed Tua to get ruined by injuries in 2019.
It seems like whenever another SEC team has a "season of destiny" lately it involves Alabama's entire offense having a season-ending injury. Crazy that that's happened twice in the past 3 years.
I mean, that's some crazy arse luck right there. Even with just Metchie out, Alabama probably still wins. Georgia needed both of them to go down, and that's what happened.
Kinda like LSU needed Tua to get ruined by injuries in 2019.

I guess you don't keep up. We played freshmen receivers all season due to injuries. Our leading receiver for the season was freshman, Ladd McConkey. Three out of our four NC TDs were scored by freshmen, but you didn't hear us making excuses.
We beat Bama with mostly freshmen receivers and no excuses.

I said all week before the game that if Georgia takes a more humble approach on defense like LSU did and blitzes Young, they will win easily.
Herbstreit in the first quarter after seeing UGA blitz the dog shite out of Young says something like , "Yea Georgia is really disrupting Young's rhythm this go around. They didn't bring any pressure on the quarterback in the Sec Championship. It's really working for them tonight"
It's not rocket science. Bryce Young sucked bad under pressure all season. UGA was arrogant in Atlanta. But they took their lumps and came after the gingerbread man in the rematch when it mattered.
Georgia was the best team all year with one misstep against the 2nd best team in Alabama.
But the 2nd best team almost lost to my dogshit depleted LSU Tigers and DID lose to the sorry arse Aggies.
