Am I missing something? Georgia clearly did not trust him to push the ball down field at all. They were completely 1-dimensional. I commend the kid for how tough he played and he certainly adds to UGA’s rushing dynamic but UGA’s lack of any passing attack will be a huge problem in the playoff.

Great.

He has another year of eligibility so I guess he’ll be back on campus next season.

If he’s out, damn… Beck did a great job, and him coming off the sidelines to finish..

Nothing but respect for him.

Our punter, who is a great person in addition to being a great punter, is the bigger concern.

You're missing that it was a kid coming in with super limited on-field time in the SEC Championship game of all things bro - come the frick on! A tight fricking game at that with a LOT on the line.

Don't post just to post.

You know, we love to clown players on here for this and that. Many of us have taken shots at Beck for many reasons. But all of that is just good natured fun. None of us want to hear this kind of news about any player. I get football is a dangerous sport, that injuries are part of the game and all that, but this could effect the young man for the rest of his life.

Get well Soon Mr. Beck and best of luck going forward.

I don’t think it’s as bad on qb’s as pitchers.

Roethlisberger's arm was never the same after he had his surgery.

He threw one of the worst interceptions I have ever seen in his attempt to throw the ball out of bounds. I'm not actually sure he was attempting to throw it out of bounds given how far he was from reaching the sidelines.

I'm also not sure what's worse, noodle arm finding Texas 10 yards shy of the sideline or thinking there was someone in the vicinity that he could complete the pass too. Watch this and tell me what was going through his head in this key moment of the game.

This is not someone that's capable of competing at a high level with his arm and decision making. Georgia will have to tightly game plan with an opponent that expects to face a limited quarterback. Not a recipe for success

It’s not, but this happening in December knocks him out of pretty much all offseason activities. Not great for a rookie in the NFL

No way he goes pro this year if that is the injury.

Yes, yes, let the tears flow. Your unfathomable sadness is manna for the undisputed kings of the SEC.

Also, we should’ve gotten in last year and be working on fourpeat.

All hail King Kirby!

Yikes. Can I get lotto numbers since you seem to Ms. Cleo and prognosticate ad nauseam?

I i hope UGA ain’t counting on that backup QB. He is tough, but not impressive. No significant run game either. I see a first game exit. The O struggles even with Beck.

If it's Tommy John, that's a heck of a recovery and will definitely impact next season.
