Don’t try to crawfish now after you made a wall of text claiming I never said WRs crossed on mesh then I proved you wrong in one of my first posts saying after they cross

Now who isnt reading?
They had 2 mesh plays against man coverage and UGA pretty much shut down man coverage after that.
When we got creative in the second half with coverages, we changed up zone blitzes and who was covering what territory to force the young QB into wrong reads.
The play that was run and failed was mesh against zone coverage.

First post... finish it.
After they cross against man coverage.
And then you continually called out my 5 yard button hook as a mesh play against zone coverage after that.
You seem to forget when I acknowledge you are correct and never argued with you (1st TD, another key third down where we blitzed and miss st converted. Uga was never really successful in man coverage against Miss st. Just like LSU. And we got afraid to call it the rest of the game).
Dont you leave the hanging chad. Dont forget that you specified against man and I agreed with you and I have stood firmly that you are an idiot with all of your zone takes from there.

Again, I was explaining Mesh, you never said No I’m talking about a single WR ect.
You said it’s not hard to hit a WR 5 yards in front of the QB facing him
Where are the WRs on mesh vs Zone? Bout 6 yards away, facing the QB. Again you never specified

My Zone takes are straight from Mumme and Leach

I'm pretty sure hal mumme knows what a hitch/hook is.
I'm pretty sure Leach knows what an angle route is... even if he calls it Texas.
I'm pretty sure Leach knows what plays he called and didnt try to call again on Saturday because they dont work against UGA's zone defense (especially when the button hook and angle were so successful against that same look).

UGA needs to get Bobo back as OC. Monken doesn't fit right.

Lol what? He’s been our best OC since Bobo and honestly he might be better.

The Air Raid managed to sport a 50% Success Rt in both facets against ESPN's SP+'s the best defense. All Verts, Meshes, Screens, IZ Slams, and Checkdowns (4/7 were on All Verts) led MSU's script.
—————-
Sonny’s wrong again.
Anyone will tell you that an Air Raid Coach’s top playcalls are for the most part gonna be 6 aka 4 Verts & Mesh regardless of the coverage as both plays adjust on their own to what the defense is doing.
One stretches the defense vertically, one horizontally.
“The IF/THEN of the AR”
Thats straight from Mumme

Classic. Gets called out for trying to argue based on an incorrect assumption as to what was being discussed, blames others for just being "here to argue".
Here is your original misread: LINK

Dbuch - read through the posts again, this time not trying to prove your point, but just read through what's happened. You focused in on one thing, then misunderstood what was being objected to. I don't have a dog in this fight. meansonny and I disagree often...
To an outside reader not engaged in the discussion, sonny basically was saying that the 5 yard completions were not regularly due to mesh routes. He never argued that they didn't throw any of them, just that the mesh routes alone weren't particularly frequent, given that we didn't give them that many man coverage looks after getting burned. If you still think that statement is inaccurate, go to the tape, find the plays. They threw the ball 52 times, surely if it was such a successful play, you can find more than the couple that have been agreed upon.

The Pirate called a hell of a game with the 5-7 routes (mesh or not), if they pack the box against Florida, Bama, aTm they don’t rush for over 50 yards. We started having success on defense with a four man rush. I would have liked to see that more throughout the game. Leach is no dummy... three men upfront he’s gonna to take advantage.

Georgia barely beat a week arse team so accept it. Quit trying to Democrat your teams play last Saturday.

What does that say about Auburn? Not much.
27-6
27-6

Hmmm
Coached the all time leading passer in SEC history, set and broke UGA records for scoring and yards in '11,'12 and '14,
coached a QB that was #1 overall pick and led the SEC in total offense in '14 with a career backup as his starting QB...besides that he totally sucked

Not trying to Democrat my teams play. Just giving props to a team that reached down deep and played a hell of a game with a limited amount of players. Without Davis and Lecounte we really aren’t a top 3 defense in the SEC. MSU may be last in their division, but they’ve given up fewer points than the first place team in the east.
