I think having NFL guys as "advisors" at such an early age is the issue, it probably creates a sense of entitlement, "if Deion Sanders is advising me, then I'm guaranteed to end up in the NFL so why listen to the HS coaches"
I'm guessing the phone incident wasn't the first time he's run afoul of the HS HC, no coach benches a guy for a State Title Game the 1st time he violates a Team rule
Kid was probably on his 10th strike when the Coach decided to bench him

How many FB players have transferred to UGA that were kicked out of other schools?

I've heard some back-channel things that it's more than just the public behavior that caused it, but no way to confirm what I've heard, so rather not be "that guy".
All I can guess is either 1) staff is worried that he'd just be a transfer portal loss due to his waffling after signing or 2) it's more serious than just not qualifying for EE, since I feel like he's *talented* enough for us to wait otherwise...

I can’t tell you how many Aubie alums in GA that I know who desperately wanted their kids to get into UGA but didn’t have the grades, then ended up having to go to schools like Auburn and pay OOS tuition. This is common knowledge in Metro Atlanta.

bullshite. He is a locker room cancer. It is obvious he is a "me" player. Nobody, and I mean nobody, wants a player like that on their team.
ETA You are stuck with him. You better hope he has a huge attitude adjustment before next year.........or he will be yet another extremely talented athlete who couldn't get out of his own way.

No one on this board knows and if they tell you they do they’re lying. I think the kid is a great talent but he does seem to be a bit of a head case. I don’t think we’ll know the whole story until he’s on campus somewhere

He signed with UGA, but changed his mind. UGA didn’t want to let him out, but he’s got dirt on payments they sent him, so they are being forced to give in to his wishes in order to avoid NCAA trouble.
(That’s as likely to be true as the Georgia fans saying, “we cut him loose cause he’s a head case.” It’s a weird deal, and nobody really knows.)

How exactly do you know he's a "cancer" in the lockeroom? From everything I've heard about him he's one of the most popular/funny players on the team.
He might have other issues but a lockeroom

I am saying that if I knew he was an entitled diva.......no, I would not want him or anybody of his ilk. That exactly what I am saying.
ETA I don't follow recruiting very closely. I know names, but most times know very little about them. Some Auburn fans were pissed at Pickens ceremony. Others were saying it was no big deal because of "character issues". The "character issue" people were obviously correct.
