LSU would take him if he fricked coach O’s wife on the quad.

Basically Kirby is setting a standard at UGA. He had his hands full with Pickens and everyone knows what kind of challenge Evens will present. Imagine Evans on a team with a crowded backfield. Won't end well.

I think we’re looking at ~ 7 months of this drama. From my understanding, you can only sign one NLI. His has been used and voided for UGA. As I understand, nothing will bind him to any school until he enrolls in August (barring test scores).

I think all the drama with Evans started with his HS HC benching him for the State Title game?

If we could get background on why he was benched for the State CG, then we can add in what has happened on the Recruiting trail and form a more complete picture

Pretty much everyone has the same minimum admission standards when it comes to test scores for athletes. You're not Stanford or an Ivy.

This is my favorite UGA narrative. They love to act like they have such strict admissions like they are on the same level as Vandy or Stanford when it comes to academics. GT is the "smart" school in Georgia but you wouldn't know it talking to any Georgia fans or alums.

I suspect Kirby was worried about character issues and the effect that has on a locker room,

That would make sense had George Pickens not been signed last year.

Before that. Coach took up players phones he made a scene and refused to give his phone up. Coach told him and rightfully so that he wasn't making the trip to Arlington. He also had got into an artication with an Assistant coach previously before. He has failed to make the grades SAT scores so it seems. He is trolling some of these schools with commitments. 5 star talent but needs a good coach that can give him some displine.

Damn, if only I had listened to faceless internet trolls, Kriby Smart wouldn't have offered him a scholarship. Geez, I feel terrible about all of this. My bad, guys.

You mean the WR y'all are so upset that you lost? That George Pickens? Of course, Auburn does not hide the fact that they openly welcome players with character issues, so....

Me thinks your bias is showing. You might want to cover it back up.

Pretty sure this is correct.

This is just speculation and rumor, I think. Not saying you are not right, but nobody really knows this for sure.

His grades didn't make the cut to gain admission to UGA. Also, his own personal drama.

If that were the case Pickens wouldn't have qualified either. Kirby wil get him in school if he wants him. Jan Kemp is dead. It must have been the drama.

Auburn fans’ saltiness about George Pickens is going to be the gift that keeps on giving for the next few years.

He’s being tutored as we speak.

He's likely to be an Aggie.

If true, y’all should reach out to Dee Anderson as well.

Super-talented WR with some personal issues. He’s probably nowhere near as bad off as Evans. He announced in November that he’s transferring from LSU.

If y’all are going to take chances on kids with baggage (I’m not judging, I was pulling hard for Dee to succeed at LSU), he might be worth the risk.

He’s a Texas kid originally too if I recall correctly.

ETA: Anderson graduated, so he’ll be immediately eligible wherever he goes.
