re: Alabama "Fans" Giving Up On Saban

There is no one else on that roster than can run from all four defensive linemen like Milroe does on most plays. Just cash it in and watch the madness.

So what his D as an HC does not count but Mason's does? Interesting
Pruitt has obviously firmly cemented his name as one of, if not the best DC in the game. Not to mention he has created a pretty solid foundation of defenses everywhere he has resided. While it can be argued his recruits have laid the brickwork to his success, he is undoubtably the better Mason in every aspect.

where he was coaching had a lot to do with who committed to him.
So FSU and Georgia are superior to LSU? That list of guys he recruited were not all to Bama. He is an elite recruiter...

Pruitt runs a 3-4
Is this not the type of guys we currently have on the roster and failed miserably at running 4-3 with ?

Talent yes, depth maybe not. But he would be the biggest DC hire IMO and we would ball in 2022.

Does O go after him? Those Pruitt coached bama defenses were nasty.

Does this mean Sage is projected as more of Nickel/CB??
I do not know what he will play but I do know he will play every snap as a true freshman.

Missing On Recruits

I get we may miss on Sage and Thomas but I’m ok with that.
For one, Thomas is an outside receiver and we currently have a plethora of guys On the team that could fit that bill next year. Gilbert will probably flex out Wide more next year and Taylor will start filling in Gilbert’s role. Also, guys like Pamer, Boutte, Jenkins, Moore, Adams and 2021 guys Hilton, Earle, and Smith will be absolute weapons no matter how they stack.
What I am getting at is I think Bech as a take in place of Thomas isn’t a bad option at all. He’s 6-2 215 lbs and his tape is ungodly. He is a solid replacement for Thomas and honestly gives us more options as he can fill a second TE role with Taylor similar to what Gilbert is doing this year. I’m not worried about offensive play.
As far as Sage goes, it hurts because we are crazy thin at Safety next year with the departure of Joseph and Harris’s Lack of physicality and awful angles. That will leave us with Harris (Sr), Hampton (Jr), Toles (Soph), and incoming freshman Khari Gee and Langlois.
While this sucks, Hopefully we can land Smith (Fr) and Foreman (Fr) to play down beside Ojulari (soph), Roy (Soph), Guillory (soph), Taylor (soph) and Incoming freshman Jackson, Brown, Khot, Jones, And Hundley. Also have a possibility that Gaye returns (doubtful).
This would be an absolute freak DL to go with a LB group of maybe Clark (Sr doubtful as he will get passed up) Baskerville (Jr), Webb (soph), Sampah (soph), White (soph), Davis (Fr), Penn III (Fr), Carter (Fr).
With this front seven and Sting and Ricks back I could give two shits if Your grandmother was playing safety.

hey have two weeks to solve problems
There should be no more excuses
My point exactly, should be extremely different results going forward if the work is put in. If nothing changes, scheme has to change because we obviously do not have the personal to run what Bo “man 2 man” wants.
Lol, Brenna will probably get videos being paddled again...
The real game this week
Posted by R0ugar0u on 10/14/20 at 1:36 pm
Will be played inside the defensive team meetings to see who can actually play well enough to field a some what decent defense. I know we are young and I think next year will be 1000 times better; however, it is scary to see what we have put on the field this year. Need some of the talented young LBs to step up BIG time going forward. Ojulari needs to remain on the field at all times...
Honestly, I think it was a little bit of everything you just mentioned.
Between the season opener, freshman playing positions they did not practice at, KJ's Godlike accuracy(This being most important), scheme, and coaching it just set up as a loss.
Could we have won that game in two weeks? It is possible; however, I am not making that excuse.

While I desperately want both, at this point we need to land at least one.

Bama give up 624 passing yards...
I honestly think Mac is very good. Definitely serviceable enough to win another title which pains me to say because I wish Satan would retire and Bama would cease to exist.
