Isn’t College OC supposed to be higher than NFL position coach in the pecking order?

Wonder if Angus Young will go with him?

Yikes. Took a demotion to get away from his college OC who he's worked with for 6 years.

Thought Mullen called the plays or at least had huge input there

When Mullen is your HC your OC is a position coach.

He was OC in name only for the most part.

this. him being OC was to only benefit him and his resume. that's it.

Crap dude. You might need to pay closer attention to your own team. that shoe game really messed with your head, didn't it? or was it the Cotton Bowl?

Good for Brian. He was one of our best recruiters. He called plays but it was Mullen's offense.

Wish we were going through a DC search instead but the good ones get poached.

Did it, though?
Did 6 years with Mullen benefit his resume?

Thanks a lot DAN.

Ballsy career move. If Carson Wentz has a rebound season, Johnson will be able to name his next job.

Eh...and there aren't very many pro jobs. Happy for Johnson...at least an opportunity to grow in football and get some NFL experience.

I don't see the NFL coming after any UGA offensive coordinators.
