I don't see the NFL coming after any UGA offensive coordinators.

Tennessee almost doubled Jim Chaneys salary (step up). UGA voluntarily decided to not counter offer and let him go at that price.

Coley got a demotion while at UGA and decided to go to texas a&m as a position coach.

Todd Monken will get a call up in a year or two. Either to college head coach or nfl offensive coordinator.
What he did with a former walkon QB was near a miracle (only team to be leading Bama at the half) in an all P5 schedule. Just give him a spring and offseason with a returning QB.

I get all my Gator news from Mutt posters. 24/7 in your heads.
seriously, I just made a joke that our rivals know what’s going on at UF before we do, cause on the rivals message board a fsu fan made this post and now a uga fan here.

Did it, though?
Did 6 years with Mullen benefit his resume?

Thanks a lot DAN.

Lol

i mean, having it on the resume is better than not. it got his foot in the door in the league. he was OC and QB coach for florida. he could be the reasoning behind why Trask shined like he did this year. then again, that could've been due to Pitts being good.

In all seriousness....neither of you knew this had happened? I mean, what are your "insiders" doing? Obviously not keeping their fan base informed. You guys need to kick them to the curb.

It wasn't just Pitts. I mean Pitts was great, but Trask+Pitts+Toney was just great. I don't know if Johnson called all the plays and Mullen just had over call rights, or what, but the offense hummed along at a nice pace.

If Johnson did the play calling, then he will do well at the NFL level. As for the poster that said that he called the plays but it was Mullen's offense? It's not a scheme so much as setting up plays and knowing what to call at certain points of a game. Whoever called the plays did very well.

Good for Brian. He was one of our best recruiters. He called plays but it was Mullen's offense.

Wish we were going through a DC search instead but the good ones get poached.

Not true! Some being pushed out to find another job or be fired! LOL Might be he wasn't high on Florida being good next year. Just kidding!
