Call me crazy but look at Kentucky’s remaining schedule and tell me they can’t make the playoff

I wonder which ex-girlfriend he was stalking this past week and where?

My excitement after our game with LSU was a 10. It’s not there tonight but it’s about an 8.

I think one of his girls gave him crabs... he was uncomfortably scratching and tugging his junk all night. Videos all over Facebook

First time I’ve been frustrated with Lane. We hired Lane to make the kill shot and put the game away. Instead he deferred to try and get one yard and left it in the hands of Blake baker, who is notorious for letting everyone with a pulse to drive down the field when the game is on the line.

Still think he’s going to be a success but he needs to quit being so timid when he has the gun in his hand. If you want to be the villain you need to grow a pair.

And LSU has to do something about Blake baker. It’s nothing short of insanity we pay him 3.5 million dollars a year. If Clemson isn’t walking through that door you can guarantee piss is rolling down his leg

I was surprised how much yall paid Baker. Felt like it was going all in on year one with a completely new roster. I actually think he is pretty good though.

Bigger issue is Kiffin clearly second guessing himself and feeling like he can’t take calculated risks. Maybe that changes, but LSU is a pressure cooker so I’m not sure how it gets more relaxed over time

Baker is a good DC. He won multiple games for LSU last year.

The problem is Kiffin holds back his DCs. Kiffin wants all his DCs to be super conservative and essentially play defense to not lose because he thinks his offense can just outscore everyone as long as the defense gets one or two stops.

Absolutely. Lane needs to put his foot on the gas. He boasted in the summer how excited he was to lean more on his defense. Well, it’s very clear that no matter how much talent Blake baker has, you can bet a well coached offense is going to get 400+ yards and 30+ points. It’s not like baker is incompetent, but it’s outrageous to pay him 3.5 a year for this product given our talent.

I want no huddle, I want vertical passing, I want Harlem Berry catching out the backfield, etc. This isn’t the aggression and pace he had at ole Miss because he put way too much trust in Baker. Going forward the fans still believe in him but we want him to take more control

Lane folds under pressure. It's been that way his entire career. He didn't go for it last night because he was scared of the flak he would have gotten if it didn't work.

He's trying to replicate what worked for him last year.

Ole Miss played 5 games last year where we had the ball with a one score lead and under 4 minutes left. We punted 4 times in that situation with only going for it once (LSU game).

We won all 5 of those games, but Lane liked relying on his defense last year and seems to be doing the same this year - to less success.

The two failed attempts at Florida in 2024 broke him. The problem was that it wasn’t the wrong call to go for it. It was the wrong call to ask your 340 DT to run off tackle.
