A June 13 article on the case by SI.com said on Feb. 2, 2017, at LSU's Broussard Hall, Fulton was seen by the test administrator pouring the contents of a small bottle into a beaker Fulton was expected to fill with his own urine sample.

So he did try to use the fake sample. But he was stopped by the administrator. So in your mind, since the administrator did not allow Fulton to use the sample....well....no harm no foul? Kind of like, if a bank robber points a gun at a teller in a bank, but the security guard stops him, they should just let the bank robber go free, since he didn't rob the bank, right?
