This kid did the time and deserves to play. He would get away with it at Alabama. Hell he would have probably just missed a couple games and that's it. He would just have to deal with the trashiest fan base in sports.

No, he did 1 year so far not the 2 years which was the NCAA punishment for cheating on a drug test.
Some LSU fans act like he did his 2 years and now the NCAA is adding another - 3rd year.

What a pathetic, cucked, unaccountable fan base. The rule is pretty fricking clear. You want to argue that it’s a stupid rule, that’s fine...but the kid broke the rule. There is a set punishment as a consequence for breaking the rule. Stop acting like “the man” is all that’s holding LSU back and accept that you support a good not great program. Know your place bitch

Correct.
But some LSU fans get confused in thinking that bama and the NCAA are one and the same.
Yes, Fulton attempted to cheat a piss test and got caught, so he's got to deal with. That's the NCAA and they view what he did as worse than other real crimes.

The NCAA does not deal with real crimes those are left to the police and universities. I don't get why people keep bringing up other players charged criminally, that is not the NCAA area of operation.
A player could kill someone and I don't think it would affect his eligibility and he would be able to play awaiting trial if the school let him.
