Who gets a NFL job?

Personally, I think running the QB a good bit in the NFL is a high risk situation, but QB Mobility can really stress a defense.

It looks like many teams are using HUNH elements including the Patriots and Falcons.

I'll say Sumlin gets the job. Possibly in Dallas or Houston.

But after CGM wins the SEC 20 of the next 22 years with 17 NCs, he will get a shot with the Falcons or Jaguars.

Sumlin

Jones
Mullen

In that order.

With JFF declaring for draft, will a team put Sumlin as coach then draft JFF?

Mullen is a shitty college coach. No way he sniffs a NFL job. I'll go with Smlin out of those listed.

Sumlin is the only real answer to this question... the rest aren't even close to being NFL coaches. Mullen can't win double digit games with his joke of an OOC.... Freeze is a well-paid car salesman... Malzahn has more experience in HS than college.... and Jones couldn't beat Derek Dooley or outright win the Big East.

Sumlin's resume is strong... very good OC and he's consistently won at Houston and now A&M.

Sumlin is the first on that list.

Freeze is a Mississippi guy and a family man. He doesn't want to leave his dream job and carry his family around the country anymore. The Ole Miss job is the perfect situation for him and his family.

Sumlin will be in the NFL soon.

Freeze would not fit well in the NFL.

Sumlin.

The rest of those guys have no shot, they will have a hard enough time not being fired in the next 3-4 years.

I agree with you.

I don't agree with you. Mullen seems to have brainwashed MSU fans into wanting him for 2 sec win seasons.

Malzahn will have his chance and I think he will do fine. It will be tough to finish top 2 in the west due to being so far behind Alabama and LSU right now.

Freeze is solid and could see him being around for several years. He may not ever put them over the top but he could keep them competitive for awhile.

Not sure what Jones will do but they are selling kids on something so far.

Sumlin is the only one IMO that has a shot at an NFL gig. Out of the others I think Jones, if he turns UT around and back into a power would be the next coach that would be an NFL "fit". Not saying he's a better coach than the others just that he would fit the NFL game better.

I'd rate those coaches

Sumlin- easily # based on previous success and the potential of TAM

Mullen-proven more at this point than those below

Freeze-on a fast pace upward in rankings

Jones- a little more experience than Gus and was successful.

Malzahn- no real Head coaching data to rank him any higher than last of the listed coaches. He's in the top 3 of those listed in terms of success potential due to the program he's at.. Au>OM,MSU; Au <=UT, TAM

Really?

A car salesman that took a team that had only won 6 games over the previous two seasons and won 7 games, went to a bowl, and signed a top 5 recruiting class. OK, I'll keep the car salesman.

In Mullen's 4 seasons at MSU we have won 3,4,2 and 4 sec games,so yea we just want him for all those 2 win sec years.

Sumlin is the only one who has actually been offered an NFL head coaching interview, so I'll go with him. Then again, maybe not considering he turned down said interview.

Freeze is not leaving.

I think the only one who will leave is Sumlin.
