Relax. Carter is going to play for Jimbo.

A&M...more mouth than trophies and it is documented.

What? You wish Alabama put division titles on their stadium. Only elite programs celebrate division championships.

I think adding OU and UT to the SEC would be great.

If you guys want to see an all time melt, just add Texas to the conference and head over to TexAgs. It might even warrant taking a day off work, that place would burn to the ground.
There is nothing wrong with either model, the only reason the SEC didn't get two teams into the playoff was because Georgia got fricked in the arse by LSU to the tune of 20 points.
Come on man, lets call it a truce and just chalk it up to something being in the water down in Texas

The last national title you won was in 1939...
I always find it amusing when A&M is saying other programs haven't accomplished anything.

This thread is cute. Regardless, as a college football fan I will enjoy playing a program in the Sugar Bowl that has accomplished something of significance post WW2.

That game we used to play in November was meh, got tired of watching A&M try and bring their knife to a gun fight, you just felt sorry for them after a while. I mean, when you can't beat Case McCoy with Ryan Tannehill on your own field... Yikes
Kevin Sumlin's first year: 11-2 (6-2) with BDF recruits and a win over Bama in the house that Bear Bryant built
$2 million per year

Jimbo Fisher's first year: 8-4 (5-3) with SEC recruits and a 74-72, 7OT win over LSU at home
$7.5 million per year

Don't worry, Rick Barnes hasn't made it past the first weekend in the tournament since 2008. Not much to look forward to.

The fact that they are now begging to play us demonstrates their exposure and schedule problem.

Buddy, you said no because you didn't have room on your schedule, so Del Conte called Alabama and we now have a home and home with Alabama. I think we are doing just fine over here.

Notre Dame
USC
LSU
Arkansas (meh)
Alabama
Michigan
Ohio State
Georgia

All from 2015-2029, if that is desperation then give me more.

Texas ran like a scared little girl from Texas AM when the Aggies joined the SEC.

Only running we did was to the A&M sideline to say frick you one last time on their way to the SEC. Couldn't beat the derp Case McCoy on their own field with Ryan Tannehill at QB. In the series, Texas A&M has won 22 games in College Station, Texas has won 26... It is a massacre in Austin.

A&M conference record in the Big 12: 68-61
Missouri conference record in the Big 12: 63-66

A&M conference record in the SEC: 29-26
Missouri conference record in the SEC: 26-29

Ain't nothing changed but the dates on the calendar. Oh, A&M did find a new and improved dad in Alabama. I'd just like to say congratulations in advance to Texas A&M on Alabama's soon to be 18th National Title.

We have people on this board that legitimately think he’s going to take kansas to the playoffs

That is laughable, his ability to turn it around is going to be predicated on a lot of factors he can't control. If Kansas State F's up their next hire that will help him. Baylor continuing to stumble around in mediocrity will help him. The biggest thing going against him right now is that Iowa State under Matt Campbell is a respectable football program and as long as Campbell is there they will kick the shite out of Kansas. If Campbell leaves for a bigger program sooner rather than later then that will help him.

Looking at it objectively it is a good hire because Les' name will carry some weight on the recruiting trail, especially in Louisiana. If he can even get some 3 star Louisiana talent there it will significantly make them better.

The only worry for Kansas is if he brings the same style of football that got him fired at LSU, he brings that shite to the Big 12 and he is going to get boat raced.

Cause I mean, can Kansas even field a good team? They have decent recruits, the RB they had if I’m right turned down LSU. But the team is just always trash. And don’t bring up 2007. That was just a weird year all around. Mizzou #1 in the country, kU 11-0 coming into rivalry week, all those upsets.. it didn’t make sense.

But seriously, if you give Kansas every resource under the sun and Nick Saban as a coach, would he ever win the b12?

On a serious note, yes Kansas has the resources to be good but put it all into Basketball. Pooka Williams Jr. is the only talented player they really have going forward. Stephen Sims Jr. is a talented WR but is gone after this year.

Les is going from the penthouse to the outhouse. If he can get them to a bowl game by the end of his contract it will be pretty damn impressive because if you didn't know any better, you'd think David Beaty was a life long Missouri fan sent to destroy Kansas football for good.

Long story short, Kansas only had 63 players on scholarship this year and they lose 25 at the end of the year and because Beaty abused the shite out of a blue shirt rule "Athlete is not formally recruited, but is put on scholarship at start of freshman practice." because Kansas needed bodies, it looks like Kansas will only be able to sign 15 scholarship players in this recruiting class.

Beaty destroyed Kansas.
I'm still impressed at the fact that Kansas was able to hire a National Title winning HC for 4.75 million less a year than Texas A&M.

Is that why you ran from Daddy Texas? Got tired of them prison raping you?

Traded Texas for LSU and bama but from some weird PTSD you actually get on your knees willingly for bama, like a bitch.

A&M made a business decision, better to be a high rent hooker for Alabama and LSU than a low rent hooker for Texas and OU.
