Some of you are really on the slow side aren't you? His first year in his first system to pull those numbers is insane. And Corral will be gone next year. Worst case scenario he will be a top 2 QB stat wise barring injury.
Personally, i have watched every SEC qb play. Hooker is easily the best returning QB next year besides maybe Bryce Young. I would take Hooker any day though. Bama had a much better defense than us and better o line last year.

That is an awful take.
UGA saw a lot of QBs, too.
Honestly, Will Levis looked more impressive than Hooker. Better under pressure. Physically, equally as impressive.

No substance? UGA is a recruiting machine right now. It will be substance when big Josh has another year or two to bring in more of his players. Next year's game is going to be a war imo.

Hooker was injured against UGA and had his worst game of the year as a result. Missed plenty of wide open guys that he normally ices. Go watch his performance against Kentucky, SC or Mizzou for better reference.

My point is that Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee all say the same thing with every coach.

Maybe the other SEC QBs can say the same for when you watched them.
Regardless, Bennett had his worst game in Knoxville but still had 250 yards with 2 TDs and no mistakes. Maybe you should have watched his other games too.

The other SEC QBs? Stats don't lie. Hooker had the number one QBR rating in the league despite being in a first year system. He is every bit as important to our early success last year as Dobbs was.
Stetson is a good little QB, but also a guy who needs elite talent all around him to shine. Football is a team sport and you guys acting like Stetson is all world are deluded. It's the same reason why all the highly touted Bama QBs are always the biggest NFL busts.
Hooker put his team on his back in multiple games last year to win and was running for his life Joe Burrow / Bengals style most of the time while doing it.
