For SC, for Beamer to be retained, he needs a playoff appearance or a *just miss* like he had in '24.

This is, on paper, the best roster and coaching staff he's ever had. If this doesn't get it done, then he will be shown the door.

I'm sure I'll get downvoted because SC sucks, and has always sucked, and will continue to suck. But he can't squander this roster with shite coaching like he did last year.

Arkansas’ is to win 2 SEC games, or for their sake keep their SEC losing streak from hitting TWENTY LOSSES IN A ROW by winning just 1.

Mississippi State is to start off 3-0. Vegas put them at 4.5 wins for a reason. Their first SEC game is @ SC. Lose that and you are on Lebby watch before October.

SC plays 5 ranked teams and then @ Florida and @ Clemson. That’s 7 games they won’t be favored in. I think they surely have to win 3 of those to keep from making a coaching change. Good luck.

Getting the respect of our SEC peers to not be called USCe.

Arkansas would like to make a bowl, but they don't have to. Silverfield has a much longer leash given he is brand new.

Lebby has to at least make a bowl, but the Schtate fanbase really wants an upset win. It's been a while since they've had one.

Beamer needs to pull off another good season or else his arse is toast. By "good," I mean 9-10 wins and in playoff contention.

Lebby needs to get to 6 wins. 7 would be great and require a couple upsets. Hell, getting to 6 would require small upsets too but it’s doable

With a dynamic QB like Taylor and an improved roster and defense coordinator we need to look competent and be one of those middling teams that plays hard and not get blown off the field.

I love Lebby’s offense and he’s proven to be a good evaluator at the skill positions but this is a line of scrimmage game and we’ve been bad at OL/DL during his tenure. Really need to shape that up.

Improvement. All are bottom tier as of now. Don’t have to remain there

The series is 2-2 in the last four years. Why y'all acting like Deshaun Watson still plays at Clemson?

Fair enough. I just looked at last year.

Beamer isn't going anywhere if SC is 7-4 going into the Clemson game.

Mississippi State needs to get an SEC win other than Arkansas. Their last non-Arkansas SEC win was Mike Leach's last game against Ole Miss in 2022.

MSU vs. SC is likely a game where the loser is canned before year's end.

Disagree. In the scenario you provide, he'd be nervous as all hell going into that game. 8-4 with a win over Clemson is safe. 7-5 with a second loss in a row, and he's likely headed for unemployment.

Silverfied needs to avoid a winless SEC season.
