You aren't being sued in federal court for eligibility, you are being sued for 1st amendment violations.

LSU fans literally have no clue what is actually going on.

What 1st amendment violations have been committed by the named defendants?

Forced association.

LSU has used the courts to force the SEC and its other members to rules it doesn't not want. In doing so, thay have taken away the SEC and its members right to choose who they accept to associate with.

Read the lawsuit.

LSU didn’t do that though.

LSU didn't use the courts. The court actually put an order in place for the players AGAINST LSU. It's like you people can't read.

The lines of delineation are clear in the NFL about what constitutes as an NFL player and what doesn't. The SEC and Sankey admitted they don't know. An NFL player is defined as a player who is on the roster during the regular season. If so, he is considered an NFL player. If a player participated in mini camps and played in the preseason and didn't make the team, he is not considered an NFL player. Being on a pre-season roster doesn't allow you any of the benefits of the regular season rostered guys. The SEC got spanked in court yesterday. The NCAA would also get spanked. Deal with it. LSU isn't going anywhere.

This is a straight up delusional take. In this world a high profile player can get drafted by a team he doesnt like and threaten to go back to college when he doesnt get the long term contract he wants

Yes you did. That is why you are being sued in federal court.

And then the NCAA did this - The NCAA's "5-for-5" eligibility rule was approved on June 23, 2026, with the NCAA planning for full implementation to officially begin for incoming prospects enrolling in fall 2027
I don’t see where that changes the 72 hour rule.

No, they didn’t. LSU didn’t pursue any avenues against the SEC.

And you can sue anyone for anything, if you’re so inclined.

Your take is delusional. If a former college basketball player try's out for the NBA and plays in preseason games, then gets cut before the regular season. Is he an NBA player ? You know the answer to this. You can't refute this in anyway.

You did.

The lawsuit even goes into details.

This is not an eligibility case.

Nope. He's trying out for the team technically. He's never played an official NFL regular season game.

I’m talking about the frivolous arse lawsuit the SEC has filed.

That thing is going nowhere.

You're a cartoon. He isn't an NBA player because he's never been on an official regular season roster. He's a tryout who didn't make it.

Deep analysis. A player who signs a contract with, practices with, plays games with, and represents an NFL team, is not an NFL player.

Got it. Thanks.

You don't even remotely know or understand what the lawsuit is about.

Which is made apparent every time you guys cite the other cases.
