DJ is a beast. He showed up the same size that Tebow was as a Jr. Both players are listed at 6'3" on the UF roster.
Tebow's listed weight each year:
Freshman - 229 lbs
Sophomore - 235 lbs
Junior - 240 lbs
Senior - 245 lbs
I would expect a Lagway and Mertz situation similar to Tebow and Leak as a freshman with some run packages.But when you look at the video DJ's accuracy and arm strength looks better than Tim's.
It will be fun seeing a QB draw with DJ colliding with the 6'1" Harold Perkins listed at 220 lbs.

He does look a bit pudgy now in his practice pics. 241 is a lot of weight for a freshman QB who isnt something like 6'5-6'6, he's 6'2.

Was kinda gonna make fun of Jared Lorenzen till I realized he passed in 2019 at 38...
Even tho imma twice his age, loved watching him play for UK....
Huge pain in UGA's arse back then and was an amazing QB at his size...
