How do you go from destroying Ole Miss to getting run out of the stadium by Mizzou?

Florida got dominated on the line of scrimmage; it is that simple. I wish LSU would recruit lineman in the Midwest heavily.

League looks to be pretty balanced apart from a couple of teams.

Per usual, y'all sleep on Mizzou's front seven.

This year we have a QB who can make things competitive.

They went to CoMo with a hangover and laid an egg exactly like Ole Miss did in Gainesville. Fell victim to quicksand.

I’m not knocking Mizzou. I thought the game would be pretty close but that was a thrashing

I believe in parity. But I also believe that you can have parity because you are a good football team. NIL has definitely arrived in college football, but so have 105 recruits on scholarship. We aren't talking about the number of players we can pull from the team as much. Maybe for the sake of understanding parity, we should.

Not really. They suffered from the same exact emotional letdown that led to them blowing out Ole Miss.

These things stand out to me.

Mizzou is good. They had maybe their best day ever.

Ole Miss defense is not so good. As a whole, Ole Miss is a decent team but like LSU they both got caught up too much in their own drama.

LSU is a decent team but not an elite team. Their defense is almost up there with Georgia's. No one can expect them to be elite in Lane's first season though.

Florida found a path against Ole Miss that could not be stopped. But Florida never was a world beater. Josh Pate could be finished as a serious analyst. He got exposed. Hopefully he figures things out else it's back to pest control or landscaping. Florida seems better than under BN but have yet to truly round the corner.

Every dog has his day. And man did Drink have one. And he had it without going all Sark at the end of the game. That was impressive.

Might be some truth to this.

Florida also missing its best WR, and then having one of its starting safeties get hurt in pregame didn’t help.

But yesterday was largely about a young team never being in that spot and getting its doors blown off.

Fix things next week, and beat South Carolina, and look towards a very cocky Texas bunch.

Tackle Jadan Baugh that's how. 12 carries for 13 net yards yesterday. Florida team rushing, 25 carries for 42 yards. Prior to yesterday Mizzo was 31st in rushing defense. They'll move up considerably.

This shite isn't rocket surgery. We were told by a gazillion experts prior to entering the SEC that the SEC is a line of scrimmage league. Apparently, that is still true.
