Having to likely beat the #1 and #2 team twice each will make for a legendary championship.

Florida won the SEC. Their #2 seed was deserved.

didn’t we have the same record and we’re like .5 games back because we had a cancelled game?

yet we were #5

They won the SEC, we didn’t. Winning matters. Choking against Miss State mattered.

Just because you don’t recognize Oral Roberts, doesn’t mean that they aren’t any good… TCUs good too

Florida probably should have lost game 1 to UVA, and barely threatened to score after the 4th inning tonight

They can mash no doubt and their top 2 starting pitchers is as good as you can get.

But they definitely have not played their best

Florida state didn’t choke away the same number of SEC games?

Not if you count each team’s first 30 SEC games, which is the length of the season. We tied. Shouldn’t matter that we made up G3 vs USCe in May.

Doesn’t that make them scarier? Bats have been inconsistent and they’ve played below their standards and they’re still 2-0.

Nobody cries victim like lsu.

I don't even know why you are worried about UF right now. You look solid.

Bats started out cold in the regionals and got hot after we lost to Texas Tech and had to come back to win the regional.

Basically our 1-4 batters haven't done much during the CWS, but they could wake up anytime.

This sounds like the musings of a fan that knows his team is getting blasted by Wake Forest tomorrow.

You know something the rest of us don't?

Gators gonna party like it's 2017.

Yea we f'd up Florida's side of the bracket by coming out flatter than a pancake against tcu. Oh well, looks like Florida walks into the final against Wake Forrest unless LSU finds some other pitching beside Skenes. Both are hitting really well so we'll see.

I'm still hoping for a 2017 rematch with the Tigers.

TCU and ORU aren't gonna make it easy if our 3 best bats don't start seeing the ball better.

And then promptly lost your next 2 games in Hoover right before the NCAA tournament selection. I love the blind spot in you memory, and it is such a coincidence how anything negative is automatically erased.

LSU 48-15 (19-10)
UF 50-15 (20-10)

You don't get auto wins for games not played. I am sure if your 3rd game vs State was rained out you would try and count that as a win.

The last 3 weeks of the season before selection Sunday:
LSU 4-5 (1 win over #22)
UF 7-2 (4 wins over #5, 2 wins over #19, 1 win over #22)

The last week in Hoover:
LSU 1-2 (lost the last 2 games to (#3 and unranked)
UF 2-1 (lost last game to #5)

But yeah, we had the same number losses so they screwed LSU.
