Don't forget Houston, more NCAA championships than A&M and more top four finishes in FB, baseball, and bball than Aggy since WW2

South Arkansas is also Arkansas. Arkansas has that whole state locked down. I'm impressed

Thanks to Frank Broyles, he made sure that no school within the borders could compete against University of Arkansas.

In Louisiana its. It’s more like 85% percent are big supporters. The other 15% are random other instate teams or out of state teams or just die hard saints only fans.

Alabama has way more auburn fans than you’re giving them credit for. It’s like 70/30 in UA’s favor.

In Texas, it’s a very mixed bag in general and depending on what part of the state you’re in, it’s either more UT or mode A&M. For example, Houston is like 70% Aggie then LSU is giving UT a run for second. There’s a lot of LSU in Houston. I mean like a whole lot.

Everyone in Louisiana supports LSU except for south Arkansas (North LA).

Dude that whole North LA is not pro-LSU is such bs. Monroe and Shreveport are bigger on the tigers than Lafayette which is less than an hour from Tiger Stadium. Spend time around Lafayette, you’ll rarely see LSU stuff in public the way you do in every other Louisiana city.

Those t shirt fans populate this message board. Probably 10-20% of these baws are actual LSU graduates.

People in Arkansas who like sports are diehards except for the occasional butthurt special snowflake from Jonesboro who thinks fandom is a zero sum game between Arkansas and State instead of supporting them both like a normal person.

People who don't like sports are still usually Hogs fans. They don't follow anything. But if the game is on, they root for the Hogs.

More like 50-60% actually. Many of us are LSU grads. Blessed to have actually won at an elite national scale.

No way it’s 50-60%. If so, that’s embarrassing for a school of higher learning. Even in Louisiana.

East is strong UT territory but West and Middle are more mixed. Middle still has lots of UT fans

I’d venture to say West TN is a pretty solid mix of TN, Ole Miss, and Ark.

Georgia has a large mix due to the massive growth of Atlanta. If people are passionate college football fans in Georgia I’d say 60% are dawgs, Auburn and Bama are well represented with loads of metro Atlanta high schoolers heading there, followed by Tech, Tennessee, South Carolina, etc. plenty of northern schools like Ohio State and Penn State as well.

False. Obnoxious aggy stickers are not an indication of anything other than obnoxiousness, and there’s no way UT has only 15 percent or less of the Houston college graduate market.

An inability to attract a larger fan base is not something to be proud of in my judgment

Like it was said, SC is pretty much split with Carolina and Clemson. When I lived at the beach, obviously a lot of Coastal Carolina fans, but you wouldn't believe the SC residents repping Tennessee.

Must be a Sunbelt thing. There's a small but very vocal core of ULL/UL/USL fans who have a Ragin inferiority complex to LSU; borderline psychotic. Most ppl in south La pay them no mind though and support all regional teams

Aggy is very hostile toward the concept of “t-shirt fans.”

It’s why they couldn’t score their own network and had to leave the State of Texas.

“Leave”. You sure have an interesting definition of that word.

It’s hard for LSU fans to understand, but Texas has a number of P5 universities, not just one like Louisiana. Houston is probably 1/4 A&M, 1/4 texas, 1/2 random shite.

I meant leave as in realizing you were spinning your wheels in Texas and then choosing to ally with Southern schools to boost your brand vicariously.
