If A&M became as popular in Texas as the Cowboys, real redass Ags would be ashamed at the influx of t-shirts, right?

Yes. They call them 2-percenters.

Florida is the most popular team in Florida, with FSU being second.

That said...its probably only about 10-12 percent of people who are fans of UF I'd say. A lot of out of towners.

I see UF stickers a lot throughout Tampa/Clearwater area when there. Same with Jacksonville.

Well, if you call aggy who actually went to school there who don’t bow down to fake army and chant while grabbing their balls “2 percenters,” that doesn’t bode well for the ones who never went to school there, now does it?

Compare that to posting on a message board of a conference your school is not a part of.

The nearest pro team to Arkansas would be either the Thunder or the Cowboys, so the Hogs are all we really have here. Pretty much every other SEC school has a pro team, or another P5 team in their state.

Dude that whole North LA is not pro-LSU is such bs. Monroe and Shreveport are bigger on the tigers than Lafayette which is less than an hour from Tiger Stadium. Spend time around Lafayette, you’ll rarely see LSU stuff in public the way you do in every other Louisiana city.

I guess my initial underestimate for the state was off due to living in Laf for the last 12 years. Most people support LSU, but I'd say the city itself is lukewarm for whatever reason. I've always heard north La is 100% LSU and it seems now it's maybe more Saints than Cowboys

Mississippi has a shitload of LSU fans and so does Texas.

Louisiana only 10% "rabid" LSU fans? Wtf is that supposed to mean and how do you even come up with a percentage on that? Lol. That's just a stupid percentage to even guess at.

For example, Houston is like 70% Aggie then LSU is giving UT a run for second. There’s a lot of LSU in Houston. I mean like a whole lot.

Lsu is maybe the 4th biggest fanbase wise in Houston

A&M/Texas, then Tech, then some mix of OU, lsu, and Bama. What’s so hard to understand? Just because you want it to be true, doesn’t mean it it.

Arkansas: It seemed like everyone there was a Hog fan to some extent; but I'm not sure how many are "diehards," didn't spend enough time there to tell.

Sure, you get some who hate any and all college sports (my brother is one of them sadly). Pretty much everyone else cheers for the Hogs. Unless they are one of the many newcomers in NW Arkansas.

It is a bit more muted of late, but going through the worst 7 year stretch in the history of the football program will do that. We still pack the house for baseball and basketball seems to be on the rise.

Mississippi is pretty diverse. Most people are State fans, but Ole Miss isn't far behind. There are a good bit of Southern Miss fans too. There are also large contingencies of Alabama and LSU fans. There are a ton of LSU fans on the Coast, as Baton Rouge isn't very far away and moved to the Coast from Louisiana.

In central and north Mississippi, the Egg Bowl is a very big deal. Tupelo is pretty much split down the middle and Jackson is close as well. Jackson has a decent amount of LSU folks too.

There are a few Tennessee and Arkansas fans scattered in north Mississippi too.

I was surprised how much Kentucky stuff I saw around Nashville.

I would say Clemson has more Wal-Mart type fans because of their recent success.
I call them the "I like em" fans. They contribute nothing..never been to a game...and will jump off the band wagon when clemsux settles back to being mediocre...

Auburn has a higher percentage of fans that are alumni, yes. More...nope
