Tuscaloosa is pure trash.
Both the poster and the city.

Here’s the other thing that bothers me about the coverage of this case and posts on this board about it. There was another gun involved in the incident, and it was used by her boyfriend. The man that pulled the trigger that killed Harris wasn’t on the team or even a student at the University. But in almost every column and post about the incident, the players are the only ones receiving blame. Seems to me that all parties involved made decisions that night that lead to the tragic outcome, but let’s put all the blame on the Alabama basketball team.

Agreed but only one person (Davis) walked right up to the driver's door of the other party's vehicle while carrying a gun. Harris's boyfriend, along with the occupants of said vehicle remained inside as best I can tell from the ESPN article based on the video they watched.
It's not hard to figure out why Davis and Miles are indicted. Also, Harris's boyfriend didn't kill anyone. Certainly could have but did not. Don't know much about gun laws but if you are in your own vehicle and somebody else walks right up carrying a gun (don't know if it was concealed or not but clearly Davis came looking for trouble and had a gun at the ready) seems like could be a stand your ground type situation.
Granted, Harris's boyfriend helped escalate the situation from everything I've read.

Nobody cared about this story until Miller's name was linked to it.
It's not a surprise.

I mean I get it. Up until that preliminary hearing nobody knew Miller was involved so that was a bombshell.

That's actually a good argument for everyone at Bama saying not one word more.
Honestly, Miller's brief statement to the media last week was spot on.

Who benefits from that? Certainly not the grieving father.
Are you trying to act caring?? Judging by your sig pic of the pat down, not so.

Exactly, the correct response in these cases is something along the lines of...
"We feel really sad for the all the families involved in this tragic situation. And respectfully that's all I can comment on."

Tide fans really are a special breed of people lol I can’t tell you how many times I have loaned my guns out or been involved in a shooting. I bet they were headed to the Salvation Army to volunteer and got dragged into a shooting by mere accident. You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep except for extremely gullible and naive Alabama fans. This is all just one big misunderstanding why I am liable to accidentally be involved in a shooting any moment now. No doubt if he were a 6’2 bench player averaging 2.5 points per game the reaction would be much different by the Tide

What has Alabama basketball ever done to Jamea Harris or her family?

The only 1 kicked off the team is the one who was injured and out for the season.
Maybe because he was only one charged with a crime and and is the only in jail?

Under Alabama law, code 13A-2-23, a person is legally accountable for the behavior of another person if he or she "procures, induces or causes such other person to commit the offense."
A person can also be charged under the law if he or she aids or abets another person in committing a crime or fails to prevent a crime while having the ability to do so!
Eight states, including Alabama, only require an element of "reckless disregard for human life," known as the Tison standard.
Anybody else would be sitting in jail right now except Brandon Killer in Tuscaloosa.

Obviously being in the state its different for me, but I haven't heard a single person really talk about this as any kind of mark against Bama basketball as a program, and I work mostly with Auburn grads. Maybe its different around the country, but these type things seem like liberal sports writers wanting to write a hit piece and make a name for themselves.

It’s a huge story. Not only in the South but the entire country. A player being allowed to continue to play after being an accessory to thevmurder of a young mother is big news.
