Maybe so, but if it were my daughter, I’d sue every person or institution I could.

3) Anyone that isn’t a ducking idiot pos like Cajunbama can tell from the limited information available Miller cut a deal to be a witness and not a suspect asap, and his status as one of the best basketball players in the county made that possible. If he is Miller from the hood he is in jail rn.

That's some fricking irony right there.

Ya know, Goodman has been getting a lot of heat from Bama fans for his writing on this case, but I mostly don’t really have a problem with this column. The victim’s family has a story to tell, and he’s getting it out there. I don’t blame them one bit for being angry, and the University has made multiple missteps in its handling of it to fuel that anger. I’m it sure what the University reaching out to them would accomplish, but I can’t know the anguish they’re going through so I can’t opine on that.

But one thing I’ve noticed in all of these columns, not just from Goodman but all the others, is they never say what actions the University should have taken that would appease them. The tone of Goodman’s column castigates the entire basketball team when only 3 players were involved. Certainly Nate Oats is the face of the team and his comments have been despicable at times, but what’s to gain by the whole team should be ashamed? Bediako wasn’t involved. Clowned wasn’t involved. Quinerly wasn’t involved. Sears wasn’t involved. And on and on. And despite what many want to imply, we still don’t fully know Miller’s full involvement. While he seems to be clear of legal jeopardy that doesn’t mean he’s completely innocent either. Perhaps he should have been suspended for a game or two, but I doubt that would have appeased the Goodman’s of the world. So what’s their solution? The one player directly involved was kicked off the team and out of school. The other person directly involved wasn’t even a student. We still don’t really know what Bradley’s involvement was other than being present and a cooperating witness.

Anyway. Sorry to ramble . Just my Wednesday morning musings.

Sir, we don't need logic and rationality here.

Tusky is a broke man. He’s resorted to giving the bird to everyone on his way out. The guy needs some therapy before he goes back up in the air. I’d be concerned for anyone flying with him.

Sir, you realize in basketball that's nearly a quarter of the scholarship athletes?

I agree that was a good, logical, decent and humane post. I’m not hating on all Bama fans by any means and I’ve rooted for and congratulated them on their past successes. But I can’t watch them now and see Miller on the court and Oats on the sideline and not cringe. I’m really not sure which of them grosses me out more. I liked oats before but I’ve lost all respect for him for the way he’s handled this and spoken about it as if it was simply some inconsequential nuisance. A woman lost her life, at least he could have pretended to give a shite.

That's actually a good argument for everyone at Bama saying not one word more.

Honestly, Miller's brief statement to the media last week was spot on.

Yep. Team has 12 members. 3 were involved directly in the murder. The gun was recovered in the apartment of a 4th member. The only 1 kicked off the team is the one who was injured and out for the season.
And their 1 signee for next year is currently under house arrest for a violent crime. Nice gang Oats has assembled there. Makes you wonder why these freshmen are so old? 1 of the freshman starters is 21 and the other is 20. Maybe they were in juvi for a couple of years?

Now let’s do if Brandon Miller didn’t deliver the gun the the man’s daughter would still be alive.

So the gun jumped out of Miller's car and killed the girl? The one responsible for the woman's death has nothing to do with Bama's basketball team.
