Happy New Years to you and yours as well.

I am a little bit older than the Ag who is reminiscing about the good 'ole days back in the 1980s.
And I hate to tell him this...
Non A&M people thought of the Yell Leaders then... the same way as he thinks of the Yell Leaders now.
That is what white milkman outfits and overalls will even do to a bunch of contract fighters I guess.

Hate to tell you this, but you’re men in white pants prancing around this is something I reminisce about often…

I hear the current male cheerleaders have proposed these new outfits for special events and such.

So even the few real men that are aggie fans are sick of the soft yell leaders they have now.
You aren’t going to get boys that hopped off a tractor going to A&M anymore. You get nancy metros. So no, the yell leaders ain’t gonna be farm boys.

What outsiders don't understand is that the yell leaders were started as a joke are supposed to be a joke and are supposed to be made fun of.
The yell leaders could stand do away with the effeminate gay cringiness a little.

My oldest goes to A&M. It is still very conservative. It is the most conservative public/state university in Texas. Fox News Laura Ingraham’s daughter is a freshman at A&M. That should clue you in about its current level of conservatism.

So do the farmer and rancher kids still go to a&m, or do they go somewhere else?

The easy fix for yell leaders is to make them be angry whip your arse types. cut out the hugging and dancing. make it a point to get in the news for bar fights and shite. make them badasses. whoever decided they should be gay jovial gleeful types is the problem.

They have left it up to a vote. It’s never been voted for. They should have 3 male positions and 3 female positions
So you’re a Democrat?
I actually commend your student body for sticking with tradition. But in pure leftist fashion, you want to force it.
