Was Claiborne in the wrong system year 1?
Hard to do a lot in your rookie year.

He was a ROOKIE as a LB(my bad). He hasn't even put any size on yet.

Hes lucky he got drafted to a team that had tons of depth at OLB. He was able to be hidden a lot last year.

what this guy was really trying to do was to prove that Alabama had better 1st round picks than LSU. Everyone who came in this thread knew it. But unfortunately for him, LSU has better 1st rounders and it kind of back fired on him. Even bama fans are calling some of his picks out. I do like the discussion this close to the draft so this isn't an entire waste of time

I think his point was that the success rate of Bama first round picks is no greater or worse than other schools.

Yeah, sure. We'll go with that

Bama will definitely jump ahead of LSU in the draft this year.

This is exactly what I was going for. So tired of seeing Bama's draft picks talked about as busts when they have about the same success rate as any other school. The draft is, for the most part, a crap shoot. That's why, even with all the data available today, teams still consistently miss at the top of the first round.

Is that why I had both teams ranked evenly? If I was attempting what you claim, I would have gumped a lot harder.

Debatable. He has been up and down. I do think he has been productive.

Productive and up and down aren't what you look for in the 5th pick
