God help yall if we beat bama this year

And that will mean... what? Arkansas lost to Bama the last two years and we still managed to borderline erotic LSU. Its not a question of having the "chest". Its that Bert tends to build his teams to play against Big 10 opponents.

Hey LSU can absolutely beat Arkansas this year, we are replacing a ton of starters on offense and if LSU gets good QB play this season they could very well compete for a spot in the CFP.

Here is the thing though. LSU has not run into trouble against Bert and Arkansas because they got whipped by Bama first. Arkansas is built to beat Big 10 power running style teams.

LSU is a Big 10 power running style team. We are basically built to beat you. A spread passing attack? Then we are in trouble.

If you get good QB play then LSU has the talent to beat Arkansas in Fayetteville if the right plays are called. If not the Hogs will throttle you yet again.

As long as Les Miles is at the LSU helm, I feel pretty good about our chances. Our being the University of Mississippi.

I disagree that we have no tough road games, but using two games from 2 years ago as reasoningis completely retarded

Why?

1. Aranda
2. Quarterbacks improve their second year of starting.
3. No tough road games
4. 18 returning starters from a 10-3 team. The 3 teams that beat us last year wont be as good. Ole Miss and Bama come to Death Valley.

Vegas has us favored in every game

Just another chance for the coonasses to shite the bed.

I love how the LSU narrative has shifted from November.

"You guys are ridiculous for wanting Miles gone, he's so good." ---> "As long as LSU is coached by Miles, I'm not worried about losing to them."

This place is more bipolar than an OT10 with a bottle of crazy pills.

2014 is not 2016. 2014 team was full of freshman. 2016 team has 18 returning starters (from the 2015 team). 2014 stat you just used is completely irrelevant.

weak, tepid sauce there

This may be the most Ole Miss thing ever said. OM is 4-7 against LSU with Miles at the helm.

you guys never change.

Bama won the SEC title in 2014 replacing at least 11 starters on offense and defense, including McCarron at QB and CJ Mosley at MLB.

Last season, Alabama had to replace key starters like Blake Sims, Jalston Fowler, Amari Cooper, Austin Shepherd, Landon Collins, DeAndrew White, and TJ Yeldon. Yet still went on to win the national title.

This whole narrative that Bama won't be nearly as good and can't beat LSU in their precious Death Valley is hilarious.

Everybody else remembers all the crap LSU fans were saying before the Bama game?

"Our OL is the best in the SEC!"

"LF is going to run all over you!"

"Our offense is balanced! We'll score on you in the air and on the ground!"

"Our defense will shut down your crappy QB and your average RB!"

One beatdown and 192 yards of total LSU offense later...

"Nah, our OL is mediocre at best."

"Our QB sucks. Can't throw anything."

"Our defense is average at best. You guys really aren't that good."

LSU went into that game undefeated and feeling like they were on top of the world.

ALL we heard was how they were going to steamroll us.

How'd that turn out?

Good hire. Somebody with experience of losing to Bama. That way he might be able to recover afterwards.
