re: We are all LSU at some point

Well aren't you adorable. Your sources, you say? Well I had no idea I had a bona fide stalker. Tell me, seeing as though I don't have any sources and I have to make assumptions, what's it like being a closet homosexual?

In Les Miserables, doesn't "the man" commit suicide at the end? Yeah, I just did a fact check. Indeed, he does. :violin:

You might want to use a better analogy next time, although, after Saturday, this might be a perfect fit.

frick Bama. Geaux Tigers!!

You're amusing. Puberty is calling.

no...frick saban.

infuriate that little troll and let him lose anyway.
This could go down as the most unpopular thread in TD history. It should, at least. I think we will win.

We were 7-0 with Miles at this time last year. We all know how that ended. I'll take CEO at 5-2.
Lighten up, Francis. This is amusing.

Alabama's defensive line is the best in the country. If they go off, it could be a long night for LSU. If the coaching staff for LSU makes the right adjustments early, or if they come out with a great game plan, it should be a terrific game. I'm thinking we have to do well with intermediate to long passing plays to set up the run. Short passes could be a problem (turnovers and pick 6's, tackles for loss). Our defense will be our strength. Have to create turnovers as well as third and longs to get three and outs. Basically, we have to outbama Alabama.

Thanks for the positive post. I wish we had more fans like you on the board. Geaux Tigers!!
Uh, okay. Not sure about that one.

I suppose you're saying, through pictures, "prepare thy anus". Or as Cajunbama recently wrote, "prepare they anus."

That was quick too. How long have you been waiting to use that, junior?
Scared is not the right word. Besides, my emotional investment in the game has nothing to do with the outcome. My life continues whether we win or lose. This venue uses the term too frequently, and I don't really blame you, dickhead, since LSU fans are the ones who abuse it the most.

re: Arden Key is too fast for Cam

Different years, different players. Has nothing to do with the present. Besides, I wasn't really stating anything worth commenting on. It was even a non-point, come to think of it.
LSU has not beaten a team with a quality defense. Alabama will compete like a talented, well-coached team, on every play most likely.

But any given Saturday anyone can be beaten.

LSU has been setting up the run with the pass, a complete 180 from what they were doing under Miles and Cameron, so a lot of this is going to fall on the offensive line's ability to protect Etling, on Etling's ability to maintain composure, and on good scheming by the coaches. They're going to have to mix things up, with nothing predictable. Problem is that Bama probably won't be predictable on defense, either.

Even under Orgeron and Aranda, the LSU defense has a tendency to start slow. This cannot happen if LSU plans on winning against Alabama. I will say this, and you might note it during the game: LSU's defensive line is underrated, and will play well as a unit. Our defensive backs are good when they are playing disciplined football. Ask Ole Miss about that.

I have respect for the Alabama program (mixed with pure hatred), though I get carried away at times on this board (did I mention I hate the football program?). I hope we win the game, but hell yeah I worry about Saturday. Any fan who cares about their program should be.

Here's to a great game. Geaux Tigers! frick Bama.

Cam is really good, and so is Arden. Toss up until the game is played.

re: Over/Under # of picks Etling throws?

Under. One pick by Etling, in the first half. Nerves and Bama's line will be tough to overcome. The kid will settle in though.

You are the guy at the bar that says to strangers, "thanks for being my friend".
I didn't read your post. Regardless of the outcome, it won't be the end of the Alabama dynasty.
