a Big 12 writer claims that ESPN is trying to engineer FSU and Clemson to the SEC because ESPN controls the tv rights to both and stands the most to lose if one or both leave the ACC.

I'd much rather them instead of Oklahoma and Texas if we would have had our pick.

Florida and South Carolina need to just accept it and not fight it.

You'd ... trade two of the most valuable athletic programs in the country for FSU and Clemson?

Most Florida fans don't care if FSU joins. I think there are better options though, and FSU already turned down the conference.

Guessing it would be hard to separate UNC from NC State and / or Duke. Clemson & the Noles basically "unattached" to any other school.

Unlike the pussies in College Station we've always supported FSU joining the SEC. But you knew that anyhow.

Yeah because I don't give a shite about the money. I don't want anymore Big 12 crap. I really don't want any of them.

I always find it funny when the talking heads on ESPN are always crying about how rivalries are being destroyed because of greed. It's their network that is orchestrating it all behind the scenes

I'm OK with dropping Texas, A&M, Oklahoma, and Mizzou. 12 was the right number.

I mean if the SEC goes to 9 games then I won't mind Clemson in the SEC. Would make sense for SC at that point.

FSU had their chace Bobby Bowden wussed out and said everyone would beat each other and no one would ever win a title

This is what happens when TV execs in the Northeast run college football. No one in the Northeast gives a shite about college football and what made it so special to begin with. They think a watered down, minor league NFL will sell better. I believe they are wrong. We will see.

It is possible, since the B1G doesn't have ESPN as a carrier.
