There are 36 standalone bowl games + 11 CFP games (including 5 bowls).

Reduce standalone bowls to 12.
After 1st round CFP, either incorporate 4 losers into bowls or play each other in a bowl.

1st 2 teams out of CFP in a bowl or are paired with 2 CFP 1st round losers.

Fewer bowl games will make them more meaningful. Using the CFP rankings to determine who gets a bowl invite.
I’m counting 6 players from 2025 NBA Draft & 9 players from 2024 NBA draft who are playing abroad & never signed an NBA contract.

While the loophole exists….
Plus, this is a relatively weak QB class for NFL Draft. He might be better moving to NFL if there is uncertainty on his collegiate return.

Last week, I said 5-8 conference wins. I’m sticking with that range. SEC doesn’t seem to be as strong as last year.

It seems like we used to go for the big body WR. Kiffin seems to prioritize WR who create separation. Will be interesting to see which players we target.

What all did he say? Please be specific.

I don't know Ed personally. so, this is all 2nd hand, but it's a message board. Ed was recruited and signed by LSU as a player and left after 2 weeks because of being homesick. I believe he grew up an LSU fan like most of us. He left and i think that "bothers" him. FF to early 90s, while coaching at Miami, Ed got into a bar fight in Baton Rouge. Shortly after he left Miami and coaching for a short stint. FF to early 2000s and he's the HC at Ole Miss. i "heard" Ed told Joe McKnight to go to USC if he didn't come to Ole Miss, "Don't go to LSU". I "heard" that there were a few other recruits during that time he told something similar "don't go to LSU".

That stuff happens. I "think" deep down there is a love/hate relationship with LSU. He will ALWAYS be loved for the 2019 season. But that success couldn't be sustained. I have no bitter or ill will towards him, but i also think his relationship with LSU is complicated at best.

Lane was able to get 30 portal players at OM, I'm sure he is going to do fine.

this. 100%
Agreed. This is a different game if our opt outs don’t opt out. Houston had 0 opt outs.
Our DL gets penetration & runs right by the RB with the ball
DB had his hands on him before the ball got there.

These officials are as horrible as our play calling.
That was a pick play, but not called.

Had our O done that it would have been flagged

It’s not a matter of effort. It’s poor execution.

The officials are bad.

We have to get after their QB & speed him up. Get him out of rhythm.

Our offense is what it is.
We did the 1st series, but not sense.
