But Muh Slippery Rock score?

If they will add a natural broadcast with no announcers and just crowd noise the world could heal

They need to have fewer commercials. Just charge the companies more per commercial and have less of them.

Trade the commercials for no Beth Mowins
It's a win for both ESPN and for consumer

The SEC should have tacked that on to the new rule set.

The Spidercam-only channels during postseason football are amazing.
No commentary, just stadium announcers and crowd noise.

It's about time. It drives me nuts watching games on ESPN. I have an 80" TV but it turns into a 60" on an ESPN broadcast.
This is absurd.

I really wish that every broadcast had a stadium only audio channel option.

Thank God. That has been my only complaint the last 2 years with the ABC broadcast. Sometimes they will go 2-3 minutes without it being on and it’s so much better.
If it was the old school ticker they had it wouldn’t have been a huge deal but the ones they have been using were almost double the size from the bottom and had fricking ads.

In the day of smartphones, a ticker is retarded.

Extremely rare 'W' for ESPN/Disney!

I never realized the ticker was a huge eye sore. Its something i pay attention to for scores of other games

They're easily the best innovation to come out of the ESPN deal. Seems like I remember it during Bama/Clemson Championship game first IIRC

Also a way to avoid annoying commercials, as the camera usually just pans around the crowd or goes all-22 during breaks.
It essentially never cuts away video or audio, which replicates the experience of actually being there.

The ticker really sucks if you want to record games and try to watch without spoilers

This is not an improvement.
