He said that we’ve never seen anything like him as far as a guy who can run and throw at an exceptional level. That’s fricking ridiculous, I can think of a guy who ripped Bama a new a-hole in 2 National Championships that fits the bill pretty well

Yea, it's a ridiculously stupid take. Deshaun, Cam, Manziel hell Baker Mayfield ran around too.

This shite sucks. Just let the kid play.

I mean.. I’m not a rocket scientist or anything... but he did come in to beat a really good UGA team last year so he has played against a quality opponent (albeit only half a game)

Yea well in one half against UGA Drew Lock threw 3 TDs, so I don't know how much weight I'd put on that.

Good point. Looks like some are setting the kid up to disappoint. By saying ok he was good but compared to the hoopla? Just let him play.

It's pretty amazing that Tua has thrown 93 passes in "1 and a half games" despite playing on a defensive running team.

All of what you said happened in the title game - he seemed to recover pretty well
Nah, the UGA DBs dropped the picks and let one WR get wide open to help cover his sack that would have cost them the game. Louisville is bad and that's all he's played. But he has plenty of garbage games to look great in before he sees a good defense.

UGA had already been exposed by Auburn a few weeks early and had they caught the picks he threw to them Bama would have never been in the game. UGA's DBs handed him the game. The final TD was made by the WR. Any QB in the SEC would have made that throw.

Come on...I know you've seen Jalen Hurts play.

He going to panic trying to make a play and take a 15 yard sack or start sling everything up for grabs.
or take a 16 yard sack in overtime of the national championship game and the next play calmly step up to the line, look off the safety like an NFL vet, and throw a rope 48 yards in the air to win the game in the biggest, most pressure-filled scenario imaginable? But you're right, I'm sure he will crumple like a wet paper bag next time he throws a pick.

I mean I don't understand the comparison at all. Lebron was the #1 ranked NBA prospect at like 16 years old. Tua wasn't even the #1 ranked college prospect as a senior in HS.

He is a damn good player from what I've seen. I want to get half a season before i really see where he is. Think Ole Miss with their offense could potentially put some pressure on him to score points in a hurry. It may not happen of course as Ole Miss has nowhere near the overall talent of Bama.

Bama has such a backloaded schedule we won't know much more til November it seems.

You mean like Georgia? The #2 team and the one that kicked your arse in the SECCG?

You are such an envious bitter little fool. Every time you open your mouth you make it obvious. Don't you know that everyone either ignores you or laughs at you?

Bama fans are just blown away by a QB that can halfway pass. They already have him with Peyton and Brady. There were 2 or 3 QBs rated better against UGA last year and they started against them.
