Is there a difference? Welcome to the depression of the hog nation. Total buzz kill heading into offseason.

Bring back LSU. Please.

Those Cajuns are almost as crazy as us and fun tailgate.

I could see the SEC eventually realizing Mizzou and Arky aren't such a great pairing and instead letting Mizzou finish with Oklahoma. Not that they were really rivals but at least it's a historic Big 8/12 matchup and they have played 97 times.

Compare that to 70 games between LSU/Arkansas and a whopping 15 between Arkansas and Mizzou. LSU and Oklahoma never played in the regular season.

Pairing up Mizzou and Oklahoma would allow LSU and Arkansas to resume what was a respectable way to end the year. Never an intense rivalry but produced some memorable moments. Gave me a game to go to in order to escape my parents' house over the holiday weekend.

Then again, LSU and Oklahoma may hit it off. Never say never.

Yeah, I’ve almost lost interest since the expansion before this one, we lost South Carolina as an annual game and LSU on thanksgiving weekend and we’re supposed to be happy with it? We got screwed over. I thought we escaped the screwings like this when we moved here but I was wrong.

I’m tired of this crap. Frank Broyles carried some weight, we don’t carry shite now.

I bet it is. I mean, Mizzou is 11 and 4 all time against Arkansas, so, yeah, it is a buzzkill.

You should get on the phone with Illinois.

We owned them so badly on the gridiron that they quit that part of the braggin rights series.

Agree that Mizzou v Oklahoma should end the year. That’s if we can’t get that kU game back up enough to make it the regular end of season game (similar to UGA/Tech and USCe/Clemson).

Quit playing dumb. Obviously your fanbase has more history with OU. Wouldnt you rather play them as a rival? I know its common sense. We have more history with lsu or literally any other team in the sec except OU

Is this an Arkansas excuse for losing thread in disguise? I think so.

Maybe Ark should beat Mizzou occasionally.

I dont know about everyone else im just saying we need to change the last game to make sense because right now our season peaks in the middle and the end of the year is somewhat of a let down. And that is not meant to be offensive irs just facts we have no history and it still feels like a forced rivalry

ending the BFTB over Thanksgiving weekend was one of the dumbest and worst things to result from 2014 expansion -

B'ham needs to suck it up and move Missouri-Oklahoma to close the season and restore the Battle for the Boot to its rightful place -

Arkansas is a team without a natural rival.

Nah. It really isn’t. We had a bad decade yada yada yada

But truth of the matter is Missouri unquestionably kicks our arse … and we just don’t care. We should. But we don’t.

You ever tried to fight someone that was depressed? Bingo.

But Texass… and our stadium about collapses on itself. Ole Miss, Alabama (even though it hasn’t been close since Saban), and Auburn (Gus and more) - our fanbase gets pumping

We had a good spirited thing with Carolina AND LSU - the Friday after Thanksgiving definitely enhanced it. Good stuff.

But Mizzou? It just doesn’t work for us. And you guys have had some good teams.

I really think either find a way to end with Kansas (that would be awesome) or to a much lesser degree take on the Sooners. That could get salty with time.

And to my Gamecock brothers and sisters, we pulling for y’all to sneak into the playoffs!

I agree....must be tough getting beat up the final game every season. Mizzou needs a real game. I would rather see Mizzou play kansas or Illinois to end the season

You don’t get it. We just don’t care, it’s such a low quality opponent to end the season with, we really just check out. I don’t even know what day the game is played on this year, I’ll let the DVR handle it and maybe watch it back… probably not.

LSU was a really fun game to end the season with. Missouri is like playing a dead corpse of a team, it’s boring, fans are boring, their stadium is worst then out POS in Little Rock. We have been saying it for years, the SEC really fricked us over with Missouri.

You could play this game for another 30 years and I’m pretty sure nobody in Arkansas will give a shite.
