I was bitching, not crying.

You should maybe give your boyfriend a break and spend a little time with a female other than mama to learn the difference.

That Utah game, I honestly keep forgetting. I didn't really care. We had already far exceeded expectations for 2008. We ran into a buzzsaw in the gators but had a chance to win. The sugar bowl was just gravy. We were looking to 2009. The Utah game had zero bearing on anything going forward. Utah was a great team and probably would have beaten us 3 out of 5 times. We were emotionally spent after the auburn and Florida games.

The emotion by everyone involved in those 2 games was off the chart. Players, coaches and fans. Those 2 games had more emotion than the rest of the 2008 schedule combined. We HAD HAD HAD to beat auburn. We could not under any circumstances lose that game.
Period. We struggled down the stretch because everyone was looking ahead to the iron bowl and the Florida game would put us in the title game. After those 2 games and had we beat Florida, we probably get housed by Oklahoma. Nothing at all was left.

Rutgers was in the AAC when we lost to them in 2013. Arkansas technically has three G5 losses over the Smile/Bert era.

Never did I think I'd look back on the Houston Nutt era as a lost Golden Age of Arkansas football.

Our Petrino years treated us better, but it's hard to imagine Bert honestly being as bas as he was without the benefit of hindsight. Struggling to even reach bowls 80% of the time is something that just shouldn't happen.

It's been over a decade but I think you should make an exception for MSU losing to Maine in football. Nothing is better than Maine Football.

I was more embarrassed losing to LSU than UCF.

I was honestly going to do embarrassing losses in general, regardless of conference classification. Ex: 4th and 25, LSU’s clock-it disaster against Ole Miss, The Camback. Etc.

But we still haven’t officially started the offseason of college sports just yet with the CWS still going on. So I guess I wanted to hold off...

Yeah I'm pretty sure they were a top 40 team going by S&P that year. Matt Campbell is a great coach.

The Boise game was far more embarrassing

I just want to say that it’s “six or fewer” wins.

Can we get an Honorable mention for when the Navy took Mizzou behind the woodshed and destroyed them in a bowl game?

Apologies on the grammar brother. I was testing the palatability of a “build your own 6-pack” at the time of posting. Had some good ones in there.

P5 schools should not be playing G5 schools.

Kind of hard to believe Tennessee only has one G5 loss considering they've had 6+ losses in 8 of the last 10 seasons.

not for me. They were ranked something like #5 when we played them and they finished #8 in one poll and #6 in another. We didn't play well, certainly, but why would anybody be embarrassed to get bet by a top 10 team?

I think our loss to Georgia Southern still takes the cake.

The UCF game was the cherry on top of a shite sundae. The Boise game was supposed to be the first game to get past that awful season and it showed that there was no improvement whatsoever.

Also, it was in Atlanta where the crowd was 90/10 UGA. Considering what happened when they came down in 2005, I felt like that game spoke volumes to how far we had fallen

There was improvement over the course of the season though but it sucked that we weren't prepared in
the season opener.Our O-line was manhandled by a D-line
that was probably 40 to 50 lbs lighter (per player)
