I've realized the error in my ways.

Was planning to do that next week, brother. Just wanted to get some discussion kicked off.

It is ordered by total wins my friend.

I can get you an ordered list by win% if you'd prefer.
Great point.

I'd prefer not to look it up because I'm interested in great discussion and dialogue here. Very interesting topic.

Sadly State gave up our bid in 1959, 1961 and 1962. We could potentially have 7-8 more games played. The 1962 team finished 24-1 and ranked third in the country and turned down a bid. How crazy is that looking back on it. That team had a very legit chance to win it all and was denied the chance by our State Government and College Board.

Oh wow. I did not know that. What was the reasoning behind this?

Why is that my friend?

I did, however, clarify the Sewanee note and placed the "regular season" qualifier in there to ease any confusion since I did go off on a bit of a Sewanee tangent there.
I thought about doing it by Win%...

But, ask and ye shall receive my brother.

1 Kentucky 0.711
2 Florida 0.708
3 Auburn 0.591
4 Arkansas 0.568
5 Mississippi State 0.524

9 Texas A&M 0.464
10 Missouri 0.449

I thought about it a bit, and perhaps this topic would be more inline with current events.

All-time SEC Tournament Records

1. Kentucky 133-25
2. Tennessee 67-54
3. Alabama 66-52
4. Georgia 47-57
4. LSU 47-58
6. Florida 43-49
7. Vanderbilt 39-56
8. Ole Miss 31-54
8. Mississippi St. 31-55
10. Auburn 30-55
11. Arkansas 26-26
12. South Carolina 21-27
13. Georgia Tech 14-18
14. Tulane 12-16
15. Missouri 4-5
15. Texas A&M 4-6
17. Sewanee 0-2

Fun fact: Ole Miss has the most regular season losses (3) vs Sewanee among all active SEC schools. Vanderbilt is the only other SEC school to have lost to them more than once.

I had to quadruple check the numbers because of South Carolina.

From 2012-2015 SCAR went 11-9. Alabama went 15-6. That's pretty outstanding.

A&M has never finished 129th in pass defense even with our abomination of a secondary this season.

This is true brother. However, A&M finished 119th in pass defense in 2005. That was last in the nation that season.
I would say Oklahoma’s would be getting revenge vs Texas in the Big 12 title game.
A few notes on the dominance Tennessee has displayed during bowl season recently...

>Tennessee is currently tied for the longest bowl winning streak among SEC schools.

>Since 2011 they are one of eight FBS schools to have played in two or more bowl games and have a win% of 1.000.

>They have held the banner for the SEC over that span, defeating 3 Big Ten schools in bowl match-ups.

But don't let this distract you from the fact that Tennessee has lost to Vanderbilt 3 straight years... Auburn and Kentucky are the only SEC schools to have longer losing streaks against Vanderbilt over the last 80 years.

Oh... Vanderbilt will be making its 5th bowl appearance since 2011. Tennessee has been to 3.
