Indeed. We went to 3 straight finals and haven’t been back since. I grew up with it being a guarantee that we easily make the tourney every year at a minimum. Shocking how far we’ve fallen.

Yep since 02 against Texas I got used to seeing SC in Omaha.

Same here. A&M has had some really good baseball teams. 1993 is really surprising for them.

I guess it's, uh, cool to make it to Omaha but how bout we focus on the teams who have actually won it all?

Made supers 99, 04, 07, 08, 11, 15, 16, 17, & 22.

Made Omaha 99, 11, 17, 22.

Nah. We let a guy hang around 16 years who would get us to the post season and every 4 or 5 years make it to Omaha to go 2 and Q. Before that Texas really invested more in baseball than we did and it showed with the results on the field and the post season.

I am liking what I am seeing from Schloss. We are playing with house money being predicted to finish 6th in the West. It is all gravy from here on out.

A&M has had several good teams over the years that ran into Graham's Rice Owls and Schlossnagle’s TCU Frogs - and didn’t get over the hump. So this season feels great.
