What is Moses’ dad trying to claim? That he should be paid because his draft projection dropped with the injury?

My assumption is that the Insurance company told them that the payout would automatically be null and void if Moses did not go in the 2020 draft, as he wouldn't have an actual draft spot to use as a comparison to his coverage baseline point. The insurance company is clearly not going to pay them based on a draft grade, only on an actual draft position.

I also doubt that the insurance company has confirmed that there will be any payout at all, just noted that they will absolutely be no payout if he stays in school. And they probably received that in writing days after he said he was coming back, ipso facto the timing of this.

That's my hypothesis.

He should go make his money.

Staying there with Pete Golding's trash arse defense he won't be doing himself any good.

Sounds like this all comes down to insurance. It appears his options are either to:

1) Take the loss of value payout (if there is one) and go to the NFL with a second round grade; or

2) Come back to Alabama and potentially increase his draft stock, but face the possibility of losing the loss of value payout.

Hey now, he got her undergrandguante degree. That's like a 12 year degree.

This seems fishy though. I'm pretty sure Dylan Moses has 100% approval and decision process to make a unilateral decision on his own behalf, even if it's a dumb move.

Wait - maybe Dylan's dad thought that Dylan's compensation would be a Lordship.

If that's the case, makes sense to want him to go to the NFL. That's a family heir at stake!

If he stays in school he didn't lose any money to injury

My guess

Exactly - that is what I'm saying. It's basically a step down process

(1) Did you enter the NFL Draft? If yes, go to Step 2. If no, you are not entitled to compensation.

(2) Were you drafted outside the parameters of the policy? If yes, go to Step 3. If not, you are not entitled to compensation

(3) Were there no self caused circumstances that led to the drop? If yes, go to Step 4. If not, you are not entitled to compensation

Etc etc etc

I’ve read that letter three times now and I’m convinced it has to be satire.

How many points did LSU score last time Bama's D with Moses faced LSU? I forget.
