It was probably his tape that did him in. Anyone with two eyes and an understanding of football could tell that he was just average. It's only his physical attributes that will entice someone to take a chance on him.

Objective post. He peaked early, in HS here in Baton Rouge. Physical measurements, Yes grade 10, straight line speed, yes, grade 10. But he never was a guy who stoned the LOS and running game and even before his injury, could not cover in space. In today's NFL, you have to be LB than can cover in space, as well as stop the run.

And the athleticism thing was basically gone last year after the knee injury.

Watching him play several games last year, I agree.

Man I was hoping he would go in the first three round. Hate that he losing out on his dream. Reminds me of Anthony Johnson. Dudes were compete freaks out of high school but college showed they peaked in high school. Hopefully this will be a lesson to young people to go to college for t( education since going pro isn’t guaranteed to anyone.

He just isn’t a good football player. The truth hurts. Everyone knows he was the worst Bama linebacker in some time. I prefer Shane Lee.

We really haven't had an "alpha" at Linebacker in some time. Is that because the game has changed? Or something else? Who WAS the last Alpha? Even in "dark days" we had "alphas" like Demeco Ryans. Rolo, Hightower, CJ Mosely earlier in the Saban era...who else? Derrick Thomas, Cornelius Bennet in the 80s... ..seems like a dry spell.

Maybe the last couple of years but not so bad as that, I think. Someone already mentioned Reuben Foster...but there was also Reggie Ragland and Rashaan Evans...

Will Anderson was a stud last year, especially as the season progressed...he should even be better next this year. I think Christian Harris will be better as well...we’ll see...

Why is the board (lsu fans) obsessed with Dylan? This is the second thread on the first page about him.

Incredibly cringe post.

It's weird, I don't think Dylan did anything crazy during his recruitment to earn dislikes from them. I feel like at this point some people are rooting against him because he left the state.

Are you trolling or just clueless? You know his dad posted here, right?

Like committing to LSU and recommitting to Bama leaving us a void at LB? It’s not crazy it was a POS move. Alapaca did the same thing. frick them both for their bidness decisions.
