And I thought this board was lucky and you stopped posting.

Wrong again.

I dont get this one bit... Is he asking for some waiver to not sit out a year?

Yes he's going to ask for a hardship waiver due to family medical issues. Going to be interesting on this one, if Chizik tells the NCAA he was suspended that will carry over at Ark state at best and will likely prevent him from getting the waiver, if Chizik says no he was not suspended from the team they "may" grant the waiver but it is a long shot.

He's a bucket of problems, but if he gets back on the field, he will most likely be the best player Arkansas State has ever had.

It makes 0 sense however if Chiz told him he could get back in good graces by doing what he needed to do at AU. Bum.

Why does it not make any sense? Chizik obviously wanted him to do some things that he wasn't willing to do. That's all there is to it.

?...People keep saying this today, but I don't have a clue what they're referring to. What are you talking about? For Auburn?

Yup. And because of this, it'll cost him some draft position. He'll at least drop 3 rounds if he has to sit out this season. I still don't know why he's making the move there. At least go DII so you can play right away and then declare.

CP3LSU25 claims that we pay every player and cheat all the time. She should've posted in the ATPB thread way back when.

This kid is Maurice Clarett 2.0, what a waste of fricking talent.

I will give props to Chiz that he gave the release without any restrictions as far as I can tell. That is the way it should be IMO, coaches can change teams/locations anytime they want, should be the same for players.

Honest question

wmr I think Dyer is very good but Bill Bergy comes to mind when I think of the best at Ark State. They also had Leroy Harris who was a good Eagles rb back in the day. Yes I know. Long time ago.

Clarett had more talent in his big toe. Dyer is just an ordinary back. I predict in three years he will be out of football.

Sad to say we have far too many keyboard cowgirl Hog fans. I hope Gus and Dyer kick arse at AR State.

I do, too. I don't understand the state hate. It's state for fricks sake. It will be nice to see an Arkansas school kick arse in another conference, while WE will not have to worry about losing recruits to them.

What are the chances he sits out a year and never plays a down for ASU, opting for the '13 draft?

If he doesn't get a waiver (and I doubt he does), this is exactly what I think will happen.

Please. Just stop.

First team All-SEC running back with no passing game to speak of and not a ton of carries. He's fricking good and very talented.

That said, I don't think he gets his waiver because it is very public knowledge that was suspended indefinitely and slightly less public that he was removed from the roster. This coupled with the fact that his OC is going to be the HC where he is transferring to will make it very tough for the NCAA to give it to him.

He is probably just using ArkSt as a workout facility close to home to prepare for the draft

There is at least 1(some teams have 4) better back on every SEC team than Dyer. Hell, Ole Miss' backup QB is a better back than Dyer. I will say he is the best handicapped RB I've ever seen. Too bad about his legs. Poor guy.
