I have them both on my fantasy team and Devonta rides the pine while Chase is a starter if that means anything. I haven’t watched Devonta but he has had some good games.

In fairness to Smith, he is relying on former Bama QB Jalen Hurts, who won’t be a starter in two seasons, to get him the ball. Chase has Joe Burrow, one of the top young quarterbacks in football.

I think the problem is more with the Eagles offense as a whole than it is Smith, but I don't see why anyone would pick Smith over Chase either.

Smith had two absolutely freak seasons and won the damn heisman. Chase is also an absolute freak and a monster to deal with. Chase may be better in the pros but what Smith did in college is incredible.

Smith, Waddle, and Najee Harris all have more receptions than Chase.

2nd in receiving touchdowns (Smith is 67th)
3rd in yards per catch(Smith is 56th)
7th in total receiving yards (Smith is 25th)
Just like Jefferson, he is instantly one of the best WRs in the NFL. Just is what it is

Chase probably is better than Smith, but its really not a fair comparison because the Eagles can't throw the ball down the field most downs because their oline is so bad that most of the time there is no pocket to be able to throw the ball down field.

Chase is better. My eyes tell me that. But is it so fricking terrible to hope that all these guys do well? Can't I just be happy that people are living their dream?
