They had a ton last year in the debate about who was the best receiver in the country. Mysteriously, they have all disappeared….

Maybe because they aren't in college anymore and neither of them are close to being the best in the NFL right now?

Don’t see too many RTWFU threads either, but that’s none of my business.

Smithy has 0 TDs over his last 5 games

Chase has 5 TDs over his last 5 games

Ja’Marr is a superior overall receiver. Devonta has good route running, but Ja’Marr has him beat with power and explosive speed.

Have you seen the 30 for 30 about Marcus Dupree, "the best that never was?"

But but but, Leonard Fournette threads….

Guess you don’t watch the NFL , but Chase has been killing it this year.

I've heard it's because LSU has pivoted into a basketball school.

No they didn't.

One actually played last year while the other sat out getting ready for the NFL - setting a dangerous precedent in the process. As a longtime fan of college football, I appreciate players who play the game because they love it and frown upon players who seemingly do it just for the money. Smith clearly loved the game. Chase saw the dollar signs and sat out an entire year to get ready to receive them. I can't fault the man for doing that, however, it's a mentality that will eventually blow up the game I love and make it totally unwatchable.

I'd rather be a baseball school again. The team is looking good in fall ball.

Sure, as long as they're updated all the way through the playoffs.
