Didn’t they beat them like 49-0 last year?

No matter who our Head Coach is they always seem to deploy the “Just have fun, treat it like any other game, don’t make it any bigger than it is” attitude. OU always comes in the opposite, pissed off & fired up. I don’t think they’re a better team than Texas, but they deserved that win. I couldn’t believe we took the lead at the end of the game after all the bullshite I watched for 60 mins.

You should look up who has a winning record in the series.
Now, does LSU ever beat FSU?

OU won both LOS, a freshman Cayden Greene manhandled Sweat like a school girl, and Texas needed a blocked fg for a TD and OU RB dropping an easy TD pass to even keep it close. OU is the better team.

We had 5 key injuries in the game … think we lost 2-3 on offensive line and still smashed you on los.

the rematch in December will be interesting.

actually.. right or wrong, we changed our defense after the 1st series of the 2nd half and it worked, until the last series when we ran prevent.. so stupid
OU 20-17 at halftime
OU 27-17 10:21 3rd Qtr
24 min of game later
OU 27-30 1:32 4th Qtr
We clearly were mugging and trying to block the escape lanes.. idk that I’d call it manhandling when that is the objective

I felt Sark turtled up at the end, playing for a FG and trying to milk the clock too early. This is CFB, too much time on the clock. go for the TD instead of playing for a FG.

No we don’t. Odd history given the two programs history but definitely in fsus favor
We also don’t play them yearly
What’s y’all’s excuse for the last 23 years

No, Sark needs to start drinking again.

Please don't get them started on all their injuries. They lost three guys during the game and one of their corners didn't start.
Now that I have informed you of that...
I might as well tell you about the 90 gazillion holding calls that the refs didn't call against OU...
And the three Texas turnovers... only one of which really hurt them... and another which ended up giving them a blocked punt TD four plays after it happened.
And on and on.

If you look at when they quit wearing leather helments, OU has won the series. But, texsa built up a great lead in the late 1800s and until WWII started.
I have watched three games where the old SWC refs stole the game, including the Stansberry interception, where the Austin American Stateman showed it and captioned it "The Interception That Never Was". Typical texsa fans just thought it was funny.
look at the name Jack Cisco with OU-Texas game. Texas Rangers had to protect that crook. Heck, while old yellow tooth was coaching, the refs stole a game from Arkansas State. Nothing to brag about there

Refs weren’t calling shite, good on OU for taking full advantage of it. Those transfers were holding for their lives. One of the most disruptive fronts in the country through six weeks could barely record a pressure against Venables Frankenstein portal line.

More like we couldn’t rotate defensive lineman due to the no huddle dink & dunk attack. Sweat probably played more snaps than he has since HS. OU definitely targeted our Freshman center making his first start ever, but he started to hold his own late.

OU has been running that fast attack since Sam Bradford played. Stoops asked coordinator, Kevin Wilson, if he could come up with a no huddle, fast playing offense.
Sark and Texas knew it was coming.

Y'all outplayed us in every aspect of the game. Can't deny it and congratulations on the win. I hop we meet up in the Big 12 Championship with OU undefeated and Texas with one loss. That will be a great rematch. Good luck the rest of the season.

He didn't turtle enough. The last drive if he would have run the play clock down more then OU would not have had enough time to drive the field. And, the prevent defense proved again that all it is good for is not preventing a last minute win for the opposing team.
