I like Gary, i think he and Blacledge are the best. Gary can get on a topic and ride it a little to long but he is always prepared and on the money with his analysis.

He’s not disliked because people think he’s a dumbass. He’s disliked because he can’t go 5 seconds without sucking off whichever blue blood is playing in a game. If he would just talk about the game he’d be good. He loses me when he goes on for five minutes hero worshiping Nick Saban or Najee Harris or whoever his having a great game for Alabama. Like we all know they’re great. Let us reflect on that later. When the game is on just cover the game.

Have you ever seen behind the scenes of a broadcast booth for a football game?’
Gary has a lot of whispers in his ear, telling him things he didn’t see because he was watching something else.

People hated him for being overly in love with Tebow for years too. He is really good at his job though. Dude can call a play before the snap and does it often. Always saw it earlier that week in practice.

I know Gary can get on people's nerves, but sometimes he really impresses me. He always knows what the penalty is and who it is on as soon as the play is over. He immediately knows what the defense's mistake was after a TD. He catches things that no one else would ever catch.

Like him or not, it's not really important.
The guy has more in depth knowledge of each individual game he's involved with than ANY other analyst in the college game. His years of being in and around it, along with the hours and hours of homework and extensive conversations with the various coaches each week before the game makes him unparalleled in the business. On top of all that, he's developed the friendship and trust on so many of the coaches that he's privy to parts of many game plans that other people don't know.
He's not a relative, nor do it have a crush on the guy(in fact, I'm not a fan of many mid-westerners), BUT I know football, and I know when another person does, too!

He may seem informed to someone who doesn't know anything. I can see Bama fans likening him for that reason and for the fact he dick rides Bama all game long. But since I'm not an Alabama inbred, no I don't think he is a brilliant mind.

Gary is wrong much of the time also, but if you notice, he has to keep telling you how he was right....even though the replay is showing otherwise.

For college football the bar is very low. I mean you have full fledged retards like Racist Rod Gilmore or Jordan Palmer.

He's definitely my favorite. My only problem is it's hard to understand some of his commentary because he's got that crimson dick in his mouth.

That’s hilarious because most Bama fans think he hates us.

To be fair and it’s probably a little human nature when a guy calls a certain team as many times as he did UF or Bama now because( and I’ll admit this as a Clemson guy Bama is still the standard of consistency you want) I guess you get to know that staff and players so well it’s easy to do.

Same with basketball Dick V loves him some Duke

ok you are already the best Clemson poster on here

Greg brings a lot to the table, but god I hate his voice. The fact that he loves to hear himself makes it even worse.

I don’t know about that. Just realistic. While it may be 2-2 It’s really hard to accomplish what Saban has done. Maybe Dabo can. But it’s so hard to win one or two let alone what 6 or is it 7 he has won at Bama? Kind of mind boggling.

Plus I don’t come on here to trash anybody. Just like good conversation

Please refer to the LSU vs MSU game. Dude was doing so bad, he blamed it on “Us commentators did not have an off-season as well”.
