I can promise one thing though, if anyone thinks we were the rich daddy’s kids had just spent a few days living in the dump of a house we lived in, I think they might change their tune.
So you just said how the only reason you were able to pay for Greek was through active duty but yet said how broke every other person was in your frat. Then went on to say what I quoted. Either your whole frat was active duty (never would believe) or some daddy money was used.

Feel like it is a damn crime with Greek Life that GDIs have more fun and do not have to pay dues and still have girls over at their parties. It is like y’all could not do that so that is why y’all had to join Greek. Notice how no other school group makes you feel wrong for not joining their group besides Greek? I don’t know it just seems strange to me. Only problem I have with them is making LSU look like absolute shite year in and year out. Also I do feel like Greek Life is a group for people who pay for friends and a good time because they could not do it without Greek. My opinion on it.

Enjoyed my experience in JHS during the 2018 season. Not just because Cole kicked the game winner. Great environment and great people. Showed great sportsmanship walking out the stadium.

What’s the spread on that?

It is not irrelevant when the original poster replies in a way that supports the interpretation that I (along with many others) had about the comment. My point was not other people made the same mistake but reading comprehension seems to be a major issue with people who are supporting Greek Life in this thread.
But thanks for assuming how my “absolute rager” parties were with my friends. Seems you have some self conscious issues replying to something like that out the blue

One episode of Trailer Park Boys will do it to you

Then why did other posters interpret the same thing and have the original poster respond to it in a way that made our interpretations correct?
Also it’s considered buying your friends which ever way you want to look at it. My friends and I do the same exact thing when we throw parties. No dues. No other bs drama frats go through. No paying for people to hang around with. Simple. Please make this your first and final posts on this new account you created. You are already making yourself look like a dumbarse.

Just like I did not buy friends in college, I am not buying that shite explanation
Also, nice burner account. For someone that has just joined today, you must have “kept trying to ignore this” for quiet a long time

Yeah, but did any of those connections you made have a daddy that was a lawyer to get you out of your DUI and/or date rape allegation?
Actually did meet a lawyer through my internship as well
But I am not trailer park trash so I probably will not need him for said situation.

Then why assume so many people’s “best day of their life” to be bid day? Seems to me that may have been the best day of YOUR life.
Also baffles me how you say all this meeting people and networking cost so much money to GDIs when it is “baked in” to Greek Life. I hate to tell you but I networked and met great people for absolutely FREE of charge. Was able to meet CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and renowned engineers while actually getting paid for being an intern. Technically I was able to network and meet just as respectable people as you without paying dues to a frat and getting paid while doing it. Sounds like you got ripped off

I have met higher class girls at high school truck meets than in sororities
Most are very self entitled, bring tons of drama to the table (from the typical girls bickering with their sisters), and only portray themselves as “classy”.

And that is fantastic and that is the way it is suppose to be. I hope and pray a love one of yours does not have to go through what Max’s parents went through. To see it first hand from the knowing the guy and having it still portray itself afterwards is gut wrenching.

I totally agree with you that there are bad apples in some of the groups you mentioned. If you take a step back and look at LSU Greek Life in the few previous years, it seems there have been more “bad apples” than good ones. Ok the university says no more hazing and are becoming more strict on it, just follow the damn rules. Keep LSU out of National News for stupid shite that can be avoided. It’s not like Greek Life is blind to this either. It’s in front of their face!!! LSU now requires every club on campus to take a hazing course to be part of the club due to Greek Life actions. Greek Life knows the University is going to be hard on them so why not just follow the rules.
You bring up ANTIFA but the correlation is the exact same (ANTIFA on a much extreme scale of course). You think people inside ANTIFA think they are doing wrong? Absolutely not! Just like people in Greek Life think it’s just the bad apples until they become the bad apples. There needs to be much more aggressive punishments than what the university is doing now to stop these things from happening because what they are doing now has not helped the situation. I believe and was raised that you hold others around you (and in your group) responsible for their actions because those you hang around have a direct reflection on you. Should I think Greek Life should be banned until they straighten out? Sure why not. These kids have to learn that there are consequences for their actions and for their groups actions. Hold others responsible. That is the main problem I have with Greek Life at the moment (at LSU at least) and I know for a fact many others believe the same.

Did you not bother to read her last two sentences? Surprise surprise she was treated poorly by a couple frat cucks. The main reason why GDIs do not care for Greek Life.

Or some of us that decided not to even rush in the first place because we did not care to join are becoming pissed off at Greek Life making our school look like shite on National News. I decided not to rush and I had above a 4.0, still went to parties, had plenty of friends, and networked with many great folks. The older I become, the more useless I see fraternities and sororities. They have become a huge eye sore on campus (at LSU at least) and seem to cause more trouble than anything. You do a “ton” for the community.....cool. So does every church group out there and they are not killing kids in the process.
Edit: If bid day was the best day of your life, I feel sorry for you

We could be a broke sob and pay with $2 bills with a tiger paw print on it when we travel but us SEC baws do not carry anything below a fiddy. Please go back to your cupcake ACC schedule.

Very true but you got to give it to the ballsy call on that play. You hold on to the ball for another second and have it dropped in the end zone and that outcome changes.
Also, college kickers....never really know if that is automatic but good thing we can rest assured on how the outcome was.

I think I would have to go with the Cole Tracy game winner or the game a few years ago when y’all were absolutely dogging us the first half and we came back to win. Liked the Tracy one since it was my first time in JHS and the one a few years ago, that comeback was unreal!
The game Danny Etling snapped the ball when time expired but made the touchdown was also a good one even though we lost in the end. It was hard to cheer when I saw the clock hit 0 before the ball was snapped so it was not too bad of a heart break
