These people are lying. Auburn is the mail rival. And it's not close. We gotta hear about their self righteous Auburn Creed bullshite and the fact that you have to have an Auburn Diploma to enter Jerdan/Jordan/Jergens-Hare stadium. And in the time frame that we've OWNED Tennessee they've handed us two of our worst losses ever, and secured a Natty.

Tennessee is an easy second. I could see being the main rival for people who live out of state. I live in Tuscaloosa. But I work in Birmingham. LOTS of Barners to deal with.

LSU is a distant third but that's more of a "good" rivalry.

This is answered easily. If AU played UT who would you rather lose? The answer is always auburn because frick Tennessee that's why.

I'll let this fine fellow speak for me -

"They low down. They dirty. They some snitches."

"It's not that kind of orange you can even sit with. I hate Tennessee."

The UA-UT rivalry was killed essentially when the conference divisions split in 1992, it just took awhile to die.

People pay lip service to UT being a rival, but it's just going through the motions. It quickly has become just another game that doesn't mean so much because it's not within the division. Recruits, Young fans and students could give 2 shits about it (to some degree because we've won the last decade straight). I think UT cares about it more because Saban has been so dominant and that's what everyone aims for to knock off.

Alabama is really just locked in on the national championship these days, and "The Process" kind of emphasizes the big picture rather then the lingering on traditional rivals

Auburn because they are in the West.

Unless UA needs help by a certain team losing then I don't care one way or another what happenss tbh.

Well, that's not entirely true, since becoming a member of TD I do get more of a kick out of LSU losses because no one can meltdown like LSU fans.

And I was glad to see Ole Miss returned to their rightful spot in the pecking order. They were starting to get above their raisin' the last few years and forgetting their place.

For the most part, order has been restored. UT just needs to become the dominant team in the East again with UF close behind and things will be back to normal.

As a former player, the answer is Auburn. They are some dirty mother-frickers - always have been, always will be.

As someone from the "young generation" you refer to that's just not true. Plenty of millienials on both sides hate the other because their parents told them. And the hate is real. Just watch the next time we beat Alabama how the fanbase reacts.

Bammer views Tennessee as its main rival as any review of the series will show.

Coach Saban has said the same thing recently.

There was a freak-out over this a couple of weeks ago with Auburn and LSU fans absurdly and patheticly claiming otherwise.

I would agree in general but it's close. If you polled Bama fans it would probably change dramatically based on how old you are. Older fans would say UT and younger ones would say AU

You can always tell who a dominant team views their biggest rival by seeing who they take their by-week before playing.

Well Jiminy Cricket, I checked but my nose isn't growing.

I dislike the Vols and it's not even close, but I appreciate you for trying to be my conscious.

Whoever Bama said is their main rival, the opposite is true. Because they are going to truly troll their main rival
